The Dolmen of Guadalperal : Spain’s Stonehenge

Global Warming is destroying our planet. As well as human activities meant to “better” our society. Such as this dam which was constructed by the Fascist Dictator of Spain, General Francisco Franco. Franco’s dam covered up an ancient series of dolmens, stone pillars meant to support stone roofs of ancient structures. Its believed they are at least 5000 years old.

Of course Fascists have no respect for history. So for Franco to flood such a historic site into a dam meant nothing to him. After all, in Fascist Spain, history began and ended with him. As a Theocratic Fascist, his regime was founded on the notion of Roman Catholic supremacy. Wiping away any remnant of the old Iberian religion was a must.

History be damned.

But ironically, Franco’s “God” failed. For by the hand of man’s own destructive nature we now have Global Warming. And through it, we have found many of our ancient ancestral sites and relics.

It’s nice to see something positive come out of our current global catastrophe. Maybe we can learn more from our ancestors on how not to be stupid. And how to properly live with the world around us.
