The Ancient Hebrews performing a sacrifice. Burning a goat or ram (can’t tell from this image) to Adonai. You see Adonai depicted as Zeus at the very top riding the smoke. It’s said the smell of his animal sacrifices when burned attracts him. The fire is how he eats. Burnt offerings are done for a variety of reasons. Including expiation of sins.
For those who don’t know, we had a combination of a New Moon, with a solar eclipse in Scorpio last Sunday. It lasted until Wednesday. Wednesday was when the solar eclipse happened. New Moons naturally belong to the dead and to dark spirits. And so are Solar Eclipses.
The Sun Gods enter their chthonic aspecks as Gods of the dead. This is the perfect time for the removal of negative energy. Or sending it out. I call these dark cleansings because we are working with dark energy to take the bad energy away. Like the Bloodmoon, a Scorpio based Eclipse (and really eclipses in general) force you to face that which you fear the most.
They force you to confront problems and burdens you’ve been holding onto for a long time. They also end a chapter of your life to start another. In my case, I had a very personal journey to make.
Dealing with the Sins of the Past
Lost in the darkness, seeking the light
I got into an argument with someone from my past. And this person reminded me of a time when I wasn’t so spiritual. And in fact I didn’t care who I hurt as long as I got mine. Even people who loved me. And who I should have loved back.
When I was younger, and far more foolish, I was a misogynist. I didn’t think I was a misogynist back then. In fact I thought I was a feminist. What I was, was one of those wanna be “woke” assholes thinking I believed in equality. It wasn’t all fake.
I truly believed I was a feminist. Part of the reason I turned against Christianity was due to the way most churches treat women. Especially my church. I was raised to believe that men are above women by divine right. Or some other horseshit like that.
Because Adam was born before Eve etc.. even though the original Hebrew Bible says that Lilith was created at the same time as Adam. And she was his equal in all respects. I was a womanizer. A compulsive liar. I constantly cheated, and I didn’t fully understand that I was controlling.
I learned this abusive behavior mostly from my dad. But also from the church, and the culture of toxic masculinity that pervades the West. And even when the person I was with was a genuinely good person, I couldn’t be faithful. Sometimes when I cheated I convinced myself that I was “loyal” and that this other person was just a side person. Someone to satisfy me when my regular partner wasn’t around.
I look back on that now and feel disgusted with myself. I wasn’t the best big brother growing up either. I was a teenager and I was so caught up in my own bullshit that I didn’t see that my sister needed me. And my Mother and Paternal grandmother were at odds with me as well. For different reasons.
How could this have ever been me? I’m 36 years old now. Not some young, cocky, asshole. After opening my eyes to several truths, I began to change. To remold myself and cast aside the bad things in my heart and mind. To become a better person.
After becoming a Pagan and a Magician that quest took off to even greater levels. I learned about the Mother Goddesses. I formed an especially close link to Hera, Nemesis, Demeter, and Gaia to name just a few. To Inle and Oshun, and to Chang’e and Kwan Yin. I learned I had a lot of work to do.
And they had no issue kicking my ass from left to right in my mid 20’s to get me to learn. My relationship with my mother and grandmother was better. I made amends with my sister eventually. And I am still changing. Still learning.
But I no longer cheat, no longer lie, no longer think I am some big “woke” feminist ally. I pursue the goal of just being a good and decent person. When I can achieve that, truly achieve it, then maybe I can be called a feminist. Until then I feel that it’s an empty title. The Cuban Exiles tend to be homophobic.
Tend to be womanizers and liars. This isn’t me hating my own culture. I’m just being honest. For years I had decided to turn my back on all religion and spirituality. I went headlong into hedonism.
And I stopped caring about people. Which led to a lot of heart ache both for myself and the girls I dated in my youth. After the nasty experience I had last Saturday, I realized I was deluding myself. I had a reading done by a friend of mine in Utah. And she told me that until I apologize to the women I have hurt, I haven’t made any amends.
Little did I know, that all of this was playing out for a reason. Because Scorpio’s influence on the New Moon and the Solar Eclipse was moving karma around. This has been a burden on my soul for a very long time. And I had kept it deep within myself. I buried this part of my past because I didn’t want to admit I had ever been this ignorant.
I began calling up women from my past and apologizing. I sent more than a dozen emails. I even wrote letters by snail mail. Some didn’t care anymore. Others forgave me.
Some said they don’t know if they can forgive me, but my apologies gave them closure. And others I am still waiting to hear from via the letters. I had begone to make amends. I was ready to begin the dark cleansing with Scorpio.
Priest burning the body of a sacrificed animal to Adonai
I had to draw on my training to figure out how to perform this cleansing. A cleansing that would be strong enough to do this. To channel the power of the Scorpio fueled new moon and solar eclipse. I decided to do a burnt offering. Thing is, I have no intentions of ever hurting an animal.
An artistic representation of the Pharmakos
The Pharmakos is the human version of a scapegoat. Humans would be chosen (or sometimes volunteer) to represent all the bad energy in a town or city. And then they would be thrown off a cliff after having weights of some sort attached. I know this is just an over simplification. So I linked an article from Harvard on this practice.
With the death of the Pharmakos, the bad energy was killed as well. In modern times, we use dolls or some other idol to be our Pharmakos in Greek expiation rituals. So I decided to incorporate the burnt offering practice with a Pharmakos.
My Pharmakos paper at the Hearth
My spirits reminded me of the power of burning magical papers and petitions to get things done. So I took a piece of Bible paper from my old catechism Bible. I collect Bible paper. It’s an old Bible so the pages started falling apart little by little. I mostly use them as paper talismans.
I drew the Triangle of Solomon on it. Now this is normally used for conjuring, trapping, and controlling a demon. The triangle protects the conjuring sorcerer. And the circle forces the entity inside and binds them. I summoned the sinful and bad parts of my soul into the circle.
And the triangle was keeping me safe so that as it burned, the bad energy couldn’t return or spread to anyone. I didn’t film it or take a picture. The last thing I needed was an image captured of negative energy burning. The paper was only beginning to be blessed by the Hearth in those images. So those images are safe.
I performed a technique in Yoruba religion called Sarayeye. This means you ceremonially use a spiritually charged item like an idol, herbs or flowers, food offering, stones or sticks, etc.. to absorb all the bad energy from your body. You take the chosen object and rub it from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. And you say words of power calling upon all bad things to leave your body. This can be anything, including bad luck and disease.
“May any harm or thing that causes harm, be displaced from my body and soul and bound into this offering,”
– Simple charm taught to me by an Elder in Santeria
In this case I did an hour long prayer. I poured my heart and soul into it. I even started shaking and crying at some point. Broke out into a cold sweat as if I had a fever. I felt nauseous.
The Gods spoke in divination later and told me I had “shed my sinful soul,”. As if I had separated from an evil twin. When the last of my wicked soul had left my body (well, as much as a normal human can shed) my body slowly went back to normal. I finished 10 mins before sunset. And I took the paper and burned it outside on a crossroads.
The smell of Bible paper was sweet. It almost smelled like Palo Santo to me. When the paper burned I felt a strange sort of relief. And the feeling of something that broke in me. And I felt what can only be described as spiritual pus leave my body.
The next day, I felt like shit. I was sore all over my body as if I had lifted a thousand pound truck. The holy fire of the hearth match and the paper’s own inherent holiness channeling the celestial fire. It felt as if the holy flames had burned what was evil inside me. This isn’t a magic bullet that makes my old selfish ways okay.
But it’s a starting point towards the path of redemption I hope. I also prayed to Zeus Meilichios for purification. Confessing my sins before his idol, and allowing him to take as much miasma away as possible. It’s a harder process than I thought. Each time it’s harder to talk to someone I hurt.
I wish the universe could have given me a warning ahead of time.
Karmic Structures and their destruction
My Buddhist Shrine
After I had performed the ritual, I prayed to the Laughing Buddha. He’s always been a Buddha who has walked with me. A Patron and protector. I asked forgiveness for what I had done years before. And to find a way to be redeemed. I spoke to him out loud about everything.
An then I stopped suddenly. Suddenly I felt this disturbance. Like a rock thrown into water. And I felt him in my heart. Almost like having a conversation but without words.
He told me that my rituals and my attempt at amends weren’t enough. I needed more.
The Journey of Jetsun Milarepa
Milarepa’s Cave where he lived surrounded by his animals and nature.
The story of Milarepa is a really messed up one. It starts like this. He came from a wealthy family. But when his father died, his aunt and uncle who were very greedy, stole all the property. As well as the money and left him and his mother nothing.
So his mother sent him away to learn the black arts.
Not Tibet, this is a depiction of Black Magic in China, but for the purpose of the story I thought I would use it. From this article
When he returned as a powerful dark magus, his aunt and uncle were throwing a party. Their son was about to get married. And many people had come to attend to feast. He used his power to summon a giant Scorpion monster to raise the house. And 35 people died.
The aunt and uncle lived however. When the villagers came to kill him, he summoned a hailstorm that destroyed their crops. Which forced them all to back down. After years of wandering the land as a black magician, his heart grew heavy. He began to hate himself.
And to regret his past sins. He decided to learn new ways. And he found a Lama or “chief”. This is the Buddhist version of a Guru in Hinduism. It’s a teacher of the Dharma.
Marpa the Translator
His Master would be Marpa the Translator. One of the greatest Buddhist masters of all time. Marpa was a hard Master to serve. The guy made him go through hell in order to prove himself worthy. I’ll spare you the long history lesson.
But he ordered Milarepa to build three towers and then destroy them. He later told Milarepa the reason for this. Each tower represented all of the bad karma and suffering he sent out into the world. The task had to be difficult because it was a sort of penance. Each time a tower was constructed, it was instantly imbued with all the bad spiritual energy.
And when it was destroyed, the karma was destroyed. That’s what the laughing Buddha told me to do. I have to create a karmic structure to destroy. In penance for my old ways. It was revealed to me by him what I had to do.
And how many times I had to do it. That part of my ceremony I won’t talk about. It’s just for me to know. I started on that already. And hopefully I can continue to make amends.
What I can say however is that it’s not a large structure. And it isn’t as many times as Milarepa. While my past self may not have been too enlightened, I never summoned a giant scorpion to kill people. Here’s hoping I can continue my path towards making amends.
I’m surprised there are still conservative and even liberal Rabbis trying to BS us with the idea that magic is against Judaism. Ancient Judaism from back in the time of King Solomon and even to Moses was rampant with magic. And with Paganism. The Elohim (the powerful ones) were the Gods worshipped by the Hebrews. Until the Persians did everything they could to purge Polytheism from the people they conquered.
And later Monotheistic Kings committed genocides against their own people over and over again to establish Adonai as the one and only God. But even then they still failed because even some Monotheistic Kings went to ask help from other Gods. So this propaganda that is peddled by Monotheists is a grotesque lie.
Abandoned Farm House Under the Milky Way (Reddit Group “Abandoned Porn”)
I’ve always wanted to write about this subject. It’s something I have only ever shared with one or two people. One of them being my Shaman. But yesterday I had a fascinating discussion with a Folklorist from England. On twitter he shared with all of us an image of a gothic cemetery from the Isle of Wight.

And then
It's such a relaxing place! I feel you can go there and just have a quiet chat with the inhabitants. They let the older areas go to meadow. Pictures don't do it justice. pic.twitter.com/7IgL1BgDiw

So I posited this question
Fascinatingly beautiful. I wonder if the dead there co-habitat with nature spirits.
— Adventures of a Mage in Miami (@MiamiMagus) June 26, 2020
This turned into an interesting discussion where I shared some of my knowledge with him. And that led to an even greater sharing of knowledge.
What are the Green Dead?
In almost every culture, it was believed when you died, you didn’t go to a Heaven or Hell. What you went to was an alternate version of Earth. An Earth were the formless spirits on the other side of the veil dwelled. Now this is an almost Universal belief shared by cultures, most of which hadn’t always had contact with each other. Let me give you some examples.
In the folk religion of Japan’s Ryukyuan islands (interesting religion, especially for women). The Ancestors in that religion, the really Ancient Ancestors do live with the Kami (Gods) in either Heaven, Earth, or the Ocean. They specifically live in the “Ancient Age”. Let me stop right there. This also something common to many religions.
There was once a mystical era where the human and spirit world were the same dimension. The same multiverse. And for some reason it split into the physical multiverse and the spiritual multiverse. It’s believed humans back then were as divine as the Angels. Even Christians refer to this era as the Edenic Era.
They believe that Adam and Eve were immortal once. Similarly, the Aboriginal Nations in Australia speak of the Dreamtime, the era when the human and spirit worlds were one. But this era is so far away from our time that it’s become it’s own dimension. In Alaska that time is called the Taimmani by the Inuit people. It’s an interesting concept, but basically it isn’t just a time or era.
It’s a part of the human and spiritual world at the same time. A type of dimensional bridge or realm. Who knows what it is. But it is believed it’s a place so deep in both worlds that very few magic users ever reach it. I just wanted to take a small break to address that.
It’s fascinating that this period of time is talked about at length in many religions. Even if not specifically named. Some may even refer to it as mythic time. A time even more prehistoric than the dinosaur period (if it could be proven). Ancestors who aren’t primordial, but are still ancient live in the “Middle Age”.
All other relatives live in the “Present Age,” the Ages as you can see are also considered dimensions. Time and space is odd both here and on the other side. But basically, with the exception of the Primordial Ancestors, most ancestors and other relatives live on Earth and in nature. Present Age ancestors actually even live as house spirits for their relatives. House Spirits are normally nature entities.
But in many cultures, the dead co-habitat with the living as protectors. Or as spirits of the hearth and home. Such as (some) of the Lares of the Household in Roman religion. We see other examples. In African religions from the traditional Yoruba and Vodoun Faiths, the dead are a part of nature.
When I mentioned in my post “preparing for death” the Itutu Ceremony, I had mentioned that initiated Santeros or Yoruba practitioners always opt to be buried. Never cremated, because the body is food to nourish the Earth. Even in death, Nature plays a part. Even in Native American cultures, the dead were connected to nature. In fact in many faiths on Turtle Island, there is sometimes very little distinction between a non human entity and one who is human.
The Aztecs for example, believed dead warriors reincarnated as Hummingbirds. So the connection between nature and the dead is there. In fact, it was the prevalent world view for centuries. Only with the coming of Christianity did we see a spirit world that was mostly dark and gloomy. With everything being a fiery dark Hell or a fiery dark Purgatory.
And only in some occasions did we see a Heaven for ‘good’ souls. The Yoruba of Nigeria believe that the realm of humans is Earth. And that it is natural for our souls to be here and to want to reincarnate here. So it makes sense that the Dead are at least in some way connected to nature. Even in monotheistic religions, Adam and Eve were made from the dirt of the Earth.
In a sense we are all related to the fae. So perhaps our souls go back to it’s original form prior to whatever made us mortal in the first place. But then why are so many ghosts messed up then? Why do some go to a Hell and others to a Purgatory? And yet more to a Heaven?
I do have some theories, but nothing conclusive. But anyways I have introduced you to the general concept of the Green Dead. Or at least my personal concept of them. So now I am going to tell all of you a story. A story about a haunted house in the woods of a Southern State.
The Green House
I think it was an investigation that took place in Georgia or Alabama. But the truth is, it’s been so long that I no longer remember. This isn’t a creepy story at all. It’s a beautiful one. It’s what started my interest in studying the Green Dead. Once, I was part of a paranormal organization.
An alliance or coalition of various groups, known as the NPS. We used to have this facebook group. I have no idea if it’s still up. And different groups would share posts of evidence on there. They would post images of locations and information on them.
Well, this one group, decided to investigate a series of abandoned homes out in the sticks somewhere. Places overrun by nature in some cases. And there was this old house in the woods somewhere. And it had a green fungus in some parts. But there was something else about it.
Even in images, it exuded a powerful spiritual aura. It felt……Green. That’s the only way I can explain it. The energy was alive with earthly power. The power it radiated was alive and warm. There were dead people yes.
But goddamn, that power felt more alive than anything I ever felt before in my life. As a necromancer I am used to the dead. I feel their energy like nobody’s business. It’s usually cool or cold or damp. But I’m telling you that ghosts had never felt so alive before.
They seemed to be ghosts who radiated nature energy. And they had powers over nature too. I could feel that they had gifts, things that aid them to rule or control nature. There were other beings there too. Faeries and other Earth based entities.
But they seemed to be a mishmash of various groups living in concert with one another. And yes I use that word un-ironically : they Lived with one another. Now, because of this, different mediums and psychics had various opinions of what types of entities were living there. And the investigators themselves had said the presences they felt and experienced seemed off. And they asked a bunch of us psychically gifted people to look into the evidence they found.
I hadn’t expected to find too much more than had already been explained by others. Still, they decided to sequester us in various individual chats. They asked us to not talk to one another to keep it professional. And not to share our opinions on the forum. To try and stamp out cross contamination.
We all agreed on the terms. I don’t know how many were actually called on to do the remote viewing sessions or divinations. I have no idea the specifics of what the others said. I will only speak of what I saw myself. I saw that many spirits had inhabited that place.
Among them were ghosts, and various species of fae. They were all living in what appeared to be a commune made up of the spirits. It seemed that since the property was so long abandoned, entities of the land took over the house. And they shared it amongst each other. It was truly a beautiful sight to behold.
After telling them what I saw and felt, they had told me it made sense. Apparently half of the sensitives had said these were ghosts and the other half said they were fae. As far as I know I’m the only one who said both. But for the very first time (but certainly not the last) my concept of the spiritual world changed and was challenged. And from then on, I began to learn all that I could about the Green Dead.
And whether or not this had been explored before in ancient cultures. Later as I learned from such Folklorists as this man on twitter, it turns out that yes. The ancients have talked about this. That for instance the Celtic word Sidhe (pronounced “she”) a word for both faeries and the hills they often inhabit, is used in reference to the dead. Banshee for example, are women who died in child birth.
They arise from their graves to warn others of death. The word shee here is the same as the word Sidhe. In cases such as this, the dead are identified with a type of faerie or spirit of nature. Maybe another time I will revisit this. But for now, I think I shared more than enough of my theories and the folklore and experiences that shape them.
For you to get why I believe in and experience this type of dead. But remember, will-O’-the-wisps are supposedly a type of Faerie in the form of a ball of light. They’re called Ghost Lights. Maybe it’s for a reason.
Happy Feast of St. George the Dragonsayer and St. Mark’s Eve! Today we commemorate the Warrior Saint who defeated a wicked Dragon to save the People of the land. Modern Christians say the Dragon is just symbolism for the Devil. I leave you to make your own conclusions. St. Mark the Evangelist is one of the Apostles of Jesus Christ. And like George who is shown with a Dragon, he’s shown with a Lion.
This is connected to the story that John Mark was traveling with his Father and two Lions had found them. The Father begged his son to go save himself. He was prepared to die for his son. But Mark told him Christ would save them. He prayed and both Lions fell dead in front of them.
What’s interesting is that he is linked with Pagan iconography where the Lion has wings (a Sphinx). Others say the Winged Lion motif looks a lot like the Shedu or Guardian Spirits from Babylon. The prevailing Christian argument is that it’s an Angel with the head of a Lion. And yes there are Angels like that. But they also seem to be related to these entities.
Now I could go in and make a longer history. But that’s not what I want to talk about now. The best time to do magic of any kind, positive or negative alike is on the Eve of a Saint’s Day. St. George and St. Mark’s Eve are prime examples of that. And all sorts of weird folklore is associated with these days.
For example Werewolves on St. George’s Eve. Or Divination done to know the future on both George and Marks’s Eve. The Eve of John the Baptist is said to be when Werewolves in Louisiana congregate and have a ball on the Bayou. So I am announcing that for those interested I am doing a divination today and tommorow. I will be channeling the awesome powers of these days to divine things even from the past.
The Eve of St. George is said to be a scary time. It’s a time when evil spirits seem to be ready to come out of the woodwork to terrify humanity. Even Bram Stoker, in his novel Dracula, had mentioned it. People also used it to divine. They would venture out at night, knowing the risk of the wicked spirits coming at them to find treasures.
It was believed that Will-O’-the-wisps would appear and hover above lost treasures buried deep within forests and lands. Some say those are the Ghosts themselves of those who buried the riches. Others don’t know what’s going on. My belief is the Veil becomes thin during this time time as it does on Halloween. Which makes it perfect to see things that normally are hidden. That’s why I focus on Divination.
Others talk about St. Mark’s Eve being even stronger. In the old days, people would hold a Vigil for St. Mark’s Eve. And those who were brave enough, would venture to a Catholic Church and see the Ghosts of people who hadn’t died yet. People who would die before or by the end of the year. There are still Paranormal Groups who do this to try and get evidence.
Technically, St. Mark’s Eve won’t start until the stroke of Midnight on Friday. But, today is the day after the New Moon. This is the original Astrological Nones of this Month. The Nones in Ancient Rome were originally calculated like that rather than having set days. The Nones are considered bad luck because as with other cultures, the New Moon is the time of the dead.
And wicked or dark spirits can be out to play in our world. What makes it worse is that the Nones were not ruled over by any Heavenly Deities. Unlike the Ides and the Kalends of the month. So we have a strong Cthonic Pulse from which to draw from if you know Necromancy. To make it even Stronger, St. George’s Eve was yesterday.
And Saturday which comes right after, is a day ruled by the Dead and Gods of the Dead. There are lots of possibilities for magic here. So for those who wish, I’ll divine for you. In the meantime, please enjoy these links!
Nehushtan, the Idol of the Hebrew Goddess Chokmah or Sophia. Moses made it out of Bronze to magically heal the Hebrews from the snake plague unleashed on them by Adonai.
Lately, it seems that this year, as positive and bright as it was meant to be, has gotten bogged down in negative energy. I was hopeful and even boasted that this would be the best of years. But I am reminded again, that what may be good in the spiritual world won’t necessarily be good for us. And this goes for every God and spirit. Even the Christian God sends trials and tribulations in the Bible.
Lately I’ve been pissed off because of it. Every once in a while, it’s good to be angry with your Gods and spirits. Because as my priest (of Zeus) once told me,
“Most of the Gods have never been human. So most of them don’t know what it’s like to be in our shoes and suffer. This is why we normally appeal to our ancestors for most personal things,”
And he’s right. Some of the Gods have been human at least once. Not just Jesus, but Gilgamesh, Herakles, the Orishas in Yoruba culture lived as men and women on Earth as well. And they all suffered horribly. Yet I find myself not doubting my faith, just angry.
I know there are cosmic reasons for why the Gods don’t give us the Paradise we desire. I know much of what’s wrong with our world is our fault. But it also feels like we live in a Multiverse that is rigged from the top. The Gnostics warned us of this. They talked about the Archons, false gods who are Demonic and often impersonate the real Gods.
They are the reasons our world is a living hell half the time. So the Gnostics busied themselves with special exorcisms and amulets to ward off the Archon’s and their influence. I consider myself a Gnostic Pagan. Gnostic Christians understand many things and I agree with much. But I don’t entirely agree with everything they preach.
Still, that’s the Christianity that I love and embrace. Because I feel a divine glimmer of truth in it all. I know that what goes wrong in our world isn’t really the fault of the Gods. I just wish they wouldn’t let things get so bad. And that goes for the Saviour God of the Christians too.
They claim to have all answers, but in reality they are just as lost as everyone else is. Which is why I embrace spirituality, not religion. I decide for myself what is or isn’t right instead of just blindly following religious leaders as many do. This doesn’t mean I don’t ask my leaders for guidance. It also doesn’t mean that I disrespect traditions or elders.
Just that at the end of the day, I think for myself and follow my own connection to the Gods. Which is a prime tenant of Gnosticism “truth comes from within,”. At this moment I am asking them for help in this current pandemic. And that is what I am sharing with you today. This is what came to me in my own meditations based on my mixed practices.
On Hekate’s Deipnon which I celebrated Sunday (day before the last phase of the Moon) I divined and asked for information. Why is this pandemic unleashed? What’s going on? What can be done about it?
Divinations
I did a combination of Bone Casting, Bibliomancy (Catholic Bible), and Cartomancy (cards). This is what I was told :
– Give offerings to Babalu Aye, Oro, and Hekate to fight the spirits of disease. I don’t know what this meant, except maybe they mean the Animistic force or energy of the disease. Everything has a soul after all.
– Pray to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam and bless red strings and hang them on the entry points of every home. This is supposed to symbolize the blood magic that kept the Angel of death away from the Hebrew Slaves in the Bible.
– Also get sticks that look like Snakes and bless them to become like the Bronze idol Moses used to cure people from the plague of snakes (Hezekiah the Hebrew King disrespectfully called it Nehushtan or brazen thing). I suspect it was an idol of Sophia also called Chokmah, Goddess of Wisdom. This is to keep the pandemic itself away. Place them on the four corners of your home and ask them in the name of Sophia, Moses, Aaron, Miriam, finally God himself to ward away the plague.
– Give offerings to the “Mighty Dead” the Kings and Queens of the Ancestors. From Adam and Eve all the way to the dead Tribal Chiefs of various cultures. Great heroes, Saints, Buddhas, and other ascended masters etc..for them to divide into one of two camps : defense and offense. For some to defend you and your loved ones as well as other humans. And others to attack the spirits of disease.
This kept coming up frequently. What it means I can only guess at. The disease is spoken of almost as an entity or group of entities.
– Give offerings to all Gods of the Dead to kill the pandemic and turn away death itself from you, your loved ones, and the world at large.
– Give offerings to all the Animal Totems, Nature Spirits, and the Dead themselves to defend us and block death and disease.
– Offerings to the Apotropai, the Gods who ward off evil. That can be Jesus or whoever else you believe in. Every God has an Apotropaic aspect.
– Offerings to all Healer Gods and Spirits. Primarily I was directed to St. Raphael the Archangel. I even received two emails strangely enough that were related to Raphael. One of them was a new blog post from WordPress.
– Pray to the Sea and Earth Gods and Goddesses and their spirits to replenish the life forces of the Earth. This means going to places that are rural or wild and the sea itself as well as rivers or canals. You’ll have to look into your own religion or culture to see what the acceptable offerings are.
– Now finally, a lot of things are being mentioned towards the end of my divinations about water and the need to purify with water. I don’t know if the key to defeating this pandemic lies in water. But these references do mention the use of ablutions. That is to say, using holy water to heal and purify. I believe all homes need to be cleansed both spiritually and physically.
You don’t need to go to a church for that. Pray over the salt and water separately. Then mix the salt and water together and do one final prayer asking for it to be empowered as holy water. Then sprinkle it daily inside and out of the home. Apparently we are being warned to be hygienic both physically and metaphysically.
– The final divinations mentioned war coming. This can be metaphorical a “war against disease”. Or perhaps it’s a literal war. The US is always declaring war on somebody for natural resources or territories. So that doesn’t even come as a shock to me anymore.
– We are being warned of the old prophecies, specifically I am reminded of the 7 Fires Prophesies of the Ojibwe.
“The Seventh Prophet was younger than the others who had come and there was a glowing light from his eyes. He said that there would come a time when the waters had been so poisoned that the animals and plants that lived there would fall sick and begin to die. Much of the forests and prairies would be gone so the air would begin to lose the power of life.
“The way of the mind brought to the red, black, and yellow nation by the white nation would bring danger to the whole earth. In this time there will arise Osh-ki-bi-ma-di-zeeg, a new people who will emerge from the clouds of illusion. They will retrace their steps to find the treasures that had been left by the trail. The stories that had been lost will be returned to them. They will remember the Original Instructions and find strength in the way of the circle. Their search will take them to the elders and the new people will ask for guidance. But many of the elders will have walked the Path of the Souls to the Star Web. Many elders will have forgotten their wisdom and they will not be able to help. Some of the elders will point in the wrong direction and others will remain silent because of their fear. Some of the elders will be silent because no one has asked them for their wisdom.
“The task of the new people will not be easy. If the New People will find trust in the way of all things, in the circle and remain strong in their quest, they will no longer need the selfish voice of the ego and they can begin to trust their inner voice. The Waterdrum of the Midewiwin Lodge will again sound its voice. There will be a rebirth of the Anishinaabe nation and a rekindling of old flames. The Sacred Fire will again be lit. Wisdom will be once again be found in dreams of the night and of the day.
“It is at this time that the light skinned race will be given a choice between two roads. If they choose the right road, then the seventh fire will light the eighth and final fire, an eternal fire of peace, love, brotherhood and sisterhood. If the light skinned race make the wrong choice of roads, then the destruction they brought with them in coming to this country will come back to them and cause much suffering and death to all the Earths people.”
I don’t think this needs much interpretation. All the old apocalyptic stories and tales are being brought up by people. Some will say this is the reaction of ignorant religious people. Others still will say that this is just paranoia and it will all blow over. Except pretty much every prophesy we have read from almost every culture perfectly describes our current world.
At some point, one has to stop shrugging and going “Oh well this is normal,” and say NO, this is not normal. Because it isn’t. Accepting it as normal is like that Meme of the Dog in the burning house. Even if you think religion is BS, you have to admit that the fact that the Letra del Año (Letter of the year) out of Cuba said diseases would be really bad this year, is kinda accurate isn’t it?
“But M! We always have diseases etc..”
Yes that’s true, but everytime a Shaman or some other spiritual person makes a prophesy it tends to come true. I remember the first time I read the Oyeku Ofun Temple’s monthly divination saying death would come via water. I kept hearing almost every day of a new water related death. Including a mother who went crazy and murdered her own son. Then chugged his body into a nearby river.
It’s only coincidence if you’re lying to yourself and everyone around you. At some point you have to admit that something strange is going on. And then do something about it. I leave you all with this. I hope it will help arm the religious and spiritual amongst us against this new plague.
Updates
This section is for anything new that appears.
– Necromancy is needed. Specifically, Necromantic rituals for warding off the Dark Dead. Those forgotten and nameless ancestors. It would seem that at the heart or root of this plague are these toxic and sad spirits. It makes sense, diseases can be spread by all sorts of spirits.
But chief among them are Demons, Angels, Nature Spirits, and Ghosts. It looks like at the heart of this pandemic are the angry and restless dead. I believe that humanity having forgotten or abandoned many of our ancestral rituals has caused a surplus flow of the dead. I actually spoke of this recently to two different clients. I am beginning to think the dead are all angry and tired of being forgotten.
With that said, act as if this were Samhain : use protective rituals. Magical charms and crystals, barriers of magic, use Fire as well as the holy water. Specifically begin using blessed candles and incense. In mediaeval times, on Samhain, and even in the Christianized Hallow’s Eve and Hallow’s Day, sacred Bonfires were made to keep the roaming dead away in the Fields.
Another thing which was later used was the Yule Lamp, which was an oil burner with a blessed candle inside. Blessed oil as well, burned at night to keep all malign forces at bay. And especially to empower the thresholds of the house to keep bad things out of the home. If you have anything like that, use it. In my case I don’t, so I have to improvise.
Do rituals to avert evil as if in Winter time when they are strongest! I cannot stress this enough. Winter is dying hard. The departed and dark wintery spirits in general do not want to leave our world. It’s necessary to make them leave.
Tuesday March 24th
I’ve been told to perform the Hungry Ghost Ritual for all the dead everywhere. This is to appease as many as possible to
1) Weaken the pandemic as it seems death itself is causing it.
2) To ask the Divine Forces to permeate all worlds in an effort to cease the pandemic. As much as possible.
For information on what a Hungry Ghost is and how to do the ritual, please read my 2018 article on Ghost Month.
After I performed the Hungry Ghost Ritual, I have been told to pray to the Mighty Dead. To the Great Kings and Queens of the Dead. Asking them all to fight the disease and destroy it. Also for inspiration to help us fight it scientifically. And I was told by the spirits to specifically pray to my own ancestors and ask for guidance.
For protection. And to keep my family together. You reader, should do the same.
Sunday March 29th
We should all be making offerings to the Primordial Gods and Spirits of every religion. Particularly to the really arcane primordials. Such as the Hecatoncheires and also the original Three Cyclops brothers (Greek Religion) Brontes, Steropes, and Arges. Those ancient Black Smith Gods who built the charmed weapons of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. While not everyone agrees they are Gods (just godlike beings), in my personal cosmology I view them as actual Gods.
In the early twilight hours of Saturday, I came to know that these were the Gods I had to personally pray to. I am also giving cthonic offerings to Kronos. Asking him to drain the pandemic away into Tartaros with him. While asking both the Cyclops Traid and the Hecatoncheires to lock the door behind. I also get the feeling these two sets of Gods are the ones we need to ask to handle the aftermath of this miss.
Including the mass crossovers of all the dead.

Final Update
I performed all of the rituals to empower the spirits to fight against the disease baring spirits. I will be doing a whole new Divination now. One for dealing with the pandemic itself.
Conclusion
Take what I have said with a grain of salt. I’m not prophet. In conclusion I will say this : I love the Gods, don’t think that I don’t. I also believe in them, have had experiences with them. But remember, even Jesus asked,
“Father, why have you forsaken me?”
And I don’t know about you. But I find myself asking myself that question a lot in these last few years.
So for today’s topic I figured I would address some concerns over whether or not Ghosts are a Christian concept. The reason for this, is because everytime I go to a YouTube video on the Paranormal, I consistently see some “christian” talk about how ghosts aren’t real. Now this is nothing new. Even regular Christian churches have said things like this on their websites. And I am left to wonder : how they can profess to know God if that’s what they believe? Forgive me, because I may come off slightly hostile in this post.
But I have had it with other people telling me that what I believe is evil and that Satan is my boss.
The Witch of Endor summons the Prophet Samuel to give Saul his final prophesy
Many of you already know that I’m a Christo Pagan. Therefore even though I worship many Gods and I can speak with spirits, I consider myself a Christian. I even research the Bible for spells and rituals and I come across interesting texts all of the time. So let’s do this the philosophical way first : It says there is life after death. So by that belief alone, ghosts are real.
A ghost isn’t just someone in purgatory/limbo. Ghosts can be people in heaven or hell as well. So ghosts have to be real because otherwise the Bible would be lying when it mentions an afterlife. So which is it? Either there is an afterlife or there isn’t. It can’t be both.
Now for this article I have composed some light information from both Judaism and Christianity. In the following text, there is evidence that Jesus and the Apostles acknowledged the existence of ghosts. When his apostles saw him walk on water, at first they were frightened and believed he was a deceased spirit.
Matthew 14:24-33
24 But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea. 26 When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear. 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
Notice that at no point does he ever say, “Silly fools, there’s no such things as ghosts,” No. He tells them it’s only him, not to be afraid. Christians have fallen over themselves to try and gas light readers by saying things like “he rebukes their superstition saying he’s not a ghost”. Where in this statement does he ‘rebuke’ them? Far from it. All he does is tell them that it’s just him.
It seems as if he agrees with them that ghosts can be a real being. Moreover, everytime Jesus raises the dead, he’s actually practicing Necromancy. Something that causes many Christians to get angry if you mention it. But necromancers are literally people that raise the dead. Now in modern times none of us can raise a corpse, but we can raise spirits.
I refer to the Latin root word for necromancy : Necromantia which itself comes from the Greek Nekromanteia which means “divination by dead bodies”. Divination is a form of communication. So whenever Jesus raised people from the dead by talking to them he was practicing the most literal form of necromancy that there is. Monotheist Christians make it look like he practically snaps his fingers and they wake up without issue. In fact that’s how they try to explain away most of his miracles whenever he does magic.
It is true that on Earth, he is a Demi God and his mere presence can attain things. But most of what he does, in fact almost everything he does is with a ritual. He always makes a statement “awaken” or in the case of Lazarus he calls him by name to rise (John 11: 1-44). Now as for the time he said awaken, I’m actually oversimplifying it. In the book of Mark, a grieving father asks Jesus to come to his house to heal his girl because she is on the verge of death.
But by the time he gets there, the child has already died. Jesus explains that she merely “sleeps”. This is because to a necromancer, death is like sleep. Even today death is likened to rest. So in Mark 5:41 it says,
He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”).
Some versions use Talitha Cumi or Talitha Cum but it’s the same thing. He speaks to the girl to awaken her. Which means she must still exist. Otherwise, how else can she hear him to be restored? Now those are just extreme cases of bodily resurrection. Does Jesus actually talk to ghosts? Yes he does.
He actually raised two ghosts before his disciples much the same way we necromancers of our time can. Of course since he’s a Demi God, even this can become a light show and a spectacle. Many have heard of the Transfiguration of Jesus. But few know what it actually means. Basically, Jesus was illuminated by his own God power.
He began to glow with holy light. Meaning that at any time, he could activate or access different levels of power. This would be an interesting topic for another time to revist. But continuing, when Jesus became transfigured with holy power, he raised the spirits of Moshe (Moses) and Elisha (Elijah) and they had some kind of conversation with Jesus. They never mention in the Bible what it was that they discussed. But what is mentioned is the following.
Matthew 17 : 1-11 The Transfiguration
1 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
4 Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three tabernacles—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” 5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” 6 When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified.
7 But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” 8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus. 9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.” 10 The disciples asked him, “Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?”
11 Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. 12 But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist,”
What’s really interesting here is that he also believes in reincarnation. John the Baptist was the reincarnation of Elijah. Furthermore, they had just witnessed John’s spirit not in the same form they had seen him in life, but as he appeared thousands of years ago when he was Elijah. Something that I hadn’t known could be done before. So yes a ghost can shape shift into their older forms from past lives.
Monotheist Christians will say that is not Bibilical. Or that he’s speaking in metaphor about Elijah and John. But remember that I am also using Jewish sources. After all, Judaism is the religion that Christianity descends from religiously speaking. And Judaism does believe reincarnation is a real thing.
They have their own version of good and bad karma. They even have their own beliefs about how souls are purified of bad karma. I will leave an article on Jewish reincarnation at the bottom in my sources if you wish to read on it further. But since Jesus and his Apostles were Jewish, this is in line with Jewish beliefs at the time and even to this day. But the most important thing to take from this is not only is reincarnation real and Jesus knows about it, but that Jesus could recall souls even from heaven.
He conjured two ghosts and spoke to them. So Jesus was a necromancer. This cannot be disputed.
Monotheist Christians try to cheat in debates to say “that is necromancy according to your beliefs, not ours,”. But that’s just mincing of words. The same way that Monotheistic Christians mince words everytime someone does witchcraft in the Bible. They claim “that’s not witchcraft! That’s the power of Gawdddddd!” Yes it is. But it also happens to be witchcraft.
If I replicated any single one of the abilities in the Bible with the craft, I usually bump into some zealot who says my power comes from Satan. But I always reply to them with this :
Matthew 12 : 22-37
Jesus and Beelzebub
22 Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. 23 All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?” 24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.” 25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.
26 If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27 And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house. 30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. 33 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.
34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Monotheist Christians of today have now entered the role of the Pharisees of old. They are following the same model they did in ancient times. They accuse Pagans and practitioners of the magical arts of all the same things that Jesus stood accused of. Yet it is Jesus who absolves us of all false accusations of being evil. Witches, whether it be a necromancer or someone who can cast out demons, are not evil by default.
Unless I were actually worshipping the Devil and practicing black magic, my powers do not hail from him. And if any of us are accused by them of being empowered by Satan, Jesus already condemns them as blasphemers. So the ones committing sin against God are ironically, them. Not any of us. They can cite as many texts from the old testament written by different authors as they wish.
This came from Jesus own lips and was recorded. The Son of God who is God’s own representative to Earth. No matter what old testament writers write, this can not be contested. In the case of Protestants they have even less leeway. Because Martin Luther created the concept of “Solo Scriptura” (only scripture or by scripture alone).
His arguement was that Catholics invented beliefs as time went on. So his movement supposedly only based their beliefs on scriptures and they were not allowed to speculate too far from the written text. What does this mean? Basically, that everytime they twist a Bible text or concept too far, they are violating Solo Scriptura. Everytime they say things like “ghosts don’t exist” they do it. Everytime they say “all witches are evil” they’re doing the same things that they accuse other people of.
What monotheists typically do, is they use mistranslated texts from the Bible. Or they use beliefs from old Testament books that were written from the point of view of the author. Usually during eras were Hebrew Paganism was being violently surpressed. But if you actually research the history of Pagan Hebrews in Ancient Israel/Palestina you will find that talking to ghosts, doing magic, and worshipping other Gods was the norm. It was only with the rise of the violent sect that worshipped only Yahweh that this all became surpressed.
And this violent sect is one of the templates used to create modern Christianity as we know it today. The other was the Council of Nicea created by the Emperor Constantine. He decided what was or wasn’t “Christian” so that he could rule his Empire unopposed. The Nicean Council ultimately destroyed Christianity. Before the Niceans, Christians practiced magic and often worked with spirits or even prayed to other Gods.
As a matter of fact, some of the Rabbis claimed Jesus learned his magic in Egypt and that he bore tattoos with spells on them. Jesus, who Christianity is based on, has done witchcraft and conjured spirits as well as fully raised people from death. If one reads ancient Jewish Manuscripts, even in Jesus time, there were ghost sightings. Rabbi Akiva also known as Akiba Ben Yosef, a powerful Jewish Sage met a dead man in a sort of Earth bound limbo-hell. The man was tormented in a hell made just for him.
They put him into forced slavery. Exhausting him with endless tasks because of his past sins, even forcing him to get the wood he would be burned on. Akiba asked him how he could be liberted from this torment. The Ghost responded that his only son had to perform a special prayer in the Jewish congregation to glorify God. This would placate God to show the man mercy.
Akiba took this knowledge he learned from a dead person to find the boy and formulate the ritual. He trained the boy as his apprentice. And later, the dead man came to Akiva in a dream and thanked him. This prayer became the Kaddish prayer of today. Jews recite this for a deceased relative to make it to Heaven.
So let’s stop right there, this is a prayer that actually frees people from a type of Hell. Not just any funerary prayer. It doesn’t mention souls or the dead person’s name. What it does, is that a minimum of ten people must be present to recite the prayer exalting God to free earthly souls. It’s a funerary prayer meant to ensure that even a condemned spirit could make it to God.
There are many instances of ghosts both in Testaments. The most famous being the Witch of Endor (Galilee). Because Saul had failed to divine using the Hebrew system of casting of lots (Urim and Thummim) one of his men told him that there was a necromancer who could divine by spirits of the dead. And yes before we continue, you read that right. Hebrews who worshipped Yahweh and only Yahweh, were using temple approved sorcery. So this is just another testament to the hypocrisy and the double standards used against us.
Monotheists do magic and it’s holy. We do it and we get burned to the stake or hanged or who knows what. Now Saul was politically backed by the sect that only worshipped Yahweh. Whether Samuel was part of that sect or not is unknown to us. What we do know is that Saul committed genocide, murdering any witches he found.
And the ones who remained alive were warned to never use their powers again. So he donned a disguise and they set forth to find the necromancer. Let’s read the Biblical passage and what it says.
1 Samuel 28
The Philistines Gather Against Israel 1 Now in those days the Philistines gathered their forces for warfare against Israel. So Achish said to David, “You must understand that you and your men will accompany me in the army.” 2 David replied, “Then you will come to know what your servant can do.” “Very well,” said Achish. “I will make you my bodyguard for life.” 3 Now by this time Samuel had died, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in Ramah, his own city. And Saul had removed the mediums and spiritists from the land.
Spiritist and medium are words that didn’t exist back then. Part of the problem with Monotheistic Christians is that they constantly change the words and meanings of the Bible to suit their own ends. I choose this passage from the Berean Bible specifically to show how this is part of the issue. Each Bible uses different words and therefore whole pasaages could be changed just by one word. They did this more than likely to use the Bible against psychics and spiritists of the era.
After all, even today Spiritism and Psychics of every flavor remain popular and in demand. What better way to scare people away from all that, than by rewriting the Bible to say “Here, see? Your practices are repugnant to God,” and there in lies the rub. We know for fact that the Bible has been written and rewritten for thousands of years. We even know now that the book of Deuteronomy, which monotheists claimed Moshe wrote, was written thousands of years after he died. Some people debate whether he wrote the Torah or not (I believe he did). So even before Jesus time, the books may have been written and rewritten over and over again.
We also know that other books purporting to be cannon, which may be valid, have been referred to as “apocrypha” by councils of Rabbis and then later Christians. Who gave them they’re authority? God? If so let them prove it. Let them show us undeniable proof that they’re God’s agents. If not, we should all scrutinise this information well. How do we know that the books within the Bible aren’t apocryphal? We know Deuteronomy is at least.
Why is it still in the Cannon? This is the same book where “thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” can be found. Except that, by all accounts Moshe was a Magus. So it’s not likely he would have written this. Also, it’s mentioned once, just nonchalantly as if talking of murder were okay. Then quickly followed by other things to take the sting out of it.
This is something I wanted to address before we continue.
4 The Philistines came together and camped at Shunem, while Saul gathered all Israel and camped at Gilboa. 5 When Saul saw the Philistine army, he was afraid and trembled violently. 6 He inquired of the LORD, but the LORD did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets.
So here it also mentions that God speaks to us via Oneiromancy or dream interpretations. Something that Monotheistic Jews used to murder people for. Christians also killed dream interpreters in later centuries. So it’s obvious that magic is okay….when they’re the ones doing it. And only if it is power derived from Yahweh and not another source.
Saul and the Medium of Endor
7 Then Saul said to his servants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, so I can go and consult her.” “There is a medium at Endor,” his servants replied. 8 So Saul disguised himself by putting on different clothes, and he set out with two of his men. They came to the woman at night, and Saul said, “Consult a spirit for me. Bring up for me the one I name.”
9 But the woman replied, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has killed the mediums and spiritists in the land. Why have you set a trap to get me killed?” 10 Then Saul swore to her by the LORD: “As surely as the LORD lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this.” 11“Whom shall I bring up for you?” the woman asked. “Bring up Samuel,” he replied. 12 But when the woman saw Samuel, she cried out in a loud voice and said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul!”
13 “Do not be afraid,” the king replied. “What do you see?” “I see a goda coming up out of the earth,” the woman answered. 14 “What does he look like?” asked Saul. “An old man is coming up,” she replied. “And he is wearing a robe.” So Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed facedown in reverence. 15 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” “I am deeply distressed,” replied Saul. “The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has turned away from me. He no longer answers me, either by the prophets or dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.”
16 “Why do you consult me,” asked Samuel, “since the LORD has turned away from you and become your enemy? 17 He has done exactly what He spoke through me: The LORD has torn the kingship out of your hand and given it to your neighbor David. 18 Because you did not obey the LORD or carry out His burning anger against Amalek, the LORD has done this to you today.
Saul and the Ancestors, angry at being disturbed
19 Moreover, the LORD will deliver Israel with you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. And the LORD will deliver the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines.” 20 Immediately Saul fell flat on the ground, terrified by the words of Samuel. And his strength was gone, because he had not eaten anything all that day and night. 21 When the woman came to Saul and saw how distraught he was, she said to him, “Look, your maidservant has obeyed your voice. I took my life in my hands and did as you told me.
22 Now please listen to your servant and let me set a morsel of bread before you. Eat, and it will give you strength to go on your way.” 23 Saul refused, saying, “I will not eat.” But his servants joined the woman in urging him, and he heeded their voice. He got up from the ground and sat on the bed. 24 The woman had a fattened calf at her house, and she quickly slaughtered it. She also took flour, kneaded it, and baked unleavened bread. 25 She served it to Saul and his servants, and they ate. And that night they got up and left.
This doesn’t leave much to speculation. Yet, Christians, have done nothing but speculate. The common misconception they spread is that the witch screamed in terror because she wasn’t expecting it to work. Or that she had no control over the spirit. Both of course are lies. The readings, no matter the Bible translation, show that her powers did work. The reason she screamed is that she realized it was Saul who was in her house.
And she feared for her life. Imagine being a Jew and learning that the guy in your house seeking divine advice is Hitler. Wouldn’t you scream for dear life too? The woman was used to seeing spirits, so seeing another one had no effect on her. It was the knowledge of who she was in the company of that scared her. When Saul asked her to raise Samuel, she nonchalantly did as she was told.
Which shows the level of power she had. Some have even told me she was a high priestess of the old religion in Israel. There are even Judeo Christian spell books that mention the Witch of Endor in high esteem. Now, on the subject of this being Samuel, monotheists seem divided. Half of them say it’s a demon who gave a false prophesy.
But the reading of the Bible later on shows the prophesy was not false, it happened exactly as Samuel foretold. Others admit that it was Samuel’s spirit but say God, not the witch, told him to appear to confront Saul. If that’s the case, whether or not you believe in witchcraft, you still have to believe ghosts are real. Because if Samuel isn’t a ghost or a demon, what the hell is he then? And if the Witch was “unholy” why would God allow Samuel to appear before her? This legitimized her power and authority as a priestess. He wouldn’t do this unless her powers and her vocation were both God approved and even bestowed upon her from him.
He also says Saul disturbed his rest. Keyword : rest. So before Yeshua Ben Yosef (Jesus Christ) called death sleep, an actual ghost said death is like sleep. This reading of the Witch of Endor having magical powers does not detract from God. It actually supports what his son said thousands of years later. Creating a scriptural basis for his preaching on death as a form of rest. The Witch of Endor gives Jesus a historical reference from which to draw his teachings.
Also note : the Bible is sometimes attuned to details. It didn’t say a “spirit” who looked like Samuel, or a demon. It said Samuel spoke to them. So by solo scriptura, we can only conclude that this was Samuel’s ghost who spoke. Therefore ghosts are very real. It cannot be disputed further unless they are going to say the writers of the Bible are mistaken. And if they do that, they would have to admit that texts saying witchcraft is evil could also be mistaken.
Therefore their whole theology falls apart. That’s why they dance around the issues and get caught up in semantics to avoid a debate they can’t win. Going back to the subject, Samuel said “Tomorrow you and your sons shall be with me,” meaning Sheol or the land of the dead for the Hebrews. Greek Christians translated it as Hades. Because Hades and Sheol were both words for the land of the dead in general.
The Hebrews had a similar belief that the land of the dead wasn’t always Heaven or Hell. And that sometimes you could even end up in places that were sort of in between (as was the case of the dead man Rabbi Akiba met). He and his sons went to the land of the dead to join Samuel in death. And if this was a demon, why make God look good? If this was a fallen spirit, it essentially supported God’s prophet and authority. What the witch did was support God’ authority, not detract from it.
“Hehehe feeble ‘pagan’ but demons are smarter! They do this to trick you into believing in such things!”
Not kidding you, that’s seriously what they believe. But it makes no sense. It doesn’t glorify Satan or his power, it glofies God and makes it so that no one would doubt the power of Yahweh’s prophets even in death. Yahweh gets all of the spoils and all the worship and belief, not the Devil. The Devil is a being of great intelligence.
Doing this isn’t intelligent, it’s stupid. It’s self defeating. And it aids his enemy both in the short and long term. This would be a case of Satan casting out Satan. And as Jesus asked, how can a kingdom divided stand? With that being said, If you’re a Christian and you don’t believe in ghosts because it’s “superstitious”, you might as well not believe in Demons or Angels either.
Or God for that matter. One final thought : I mentioned solo scriptura a bunch of times now. So why are so many Protestant denominations inventing theories on Bible passages? Passages that are as clear as night and day? Answer : divine inspiration. This is the belief that Martin Luther and even modern day preachers gain some kind of divine sixth sense from God that allows them to understand Bible texts in ways none of us can understand. In other words, this is a loophole that allows them to break solo scriptura and invent alternate interpretations to the Bible.
None of us are allowed to reason for ourselves because then we are “misguided sheep” who require shepherds to teach them. Perhaps I’m a little too skeptical. But this sounds like a con job to me. In fact it sounds like something Satan would do.
(I do believe he wrote it. But in the interests of trying to present a non biased argument I included this piece of research in here anyways. Plus I wanted to cite one of the sources I got it from).
Sorry I’ve been gone friends. I have had my work cut out for me. I’ve been paying attention to events, divining, and making the appropriate offerings for protection. I’ve seen a lot of new agey sites talk about how “awesome” this year is going to be. And half the time I wonder what shrooms they’re on.
I understand the whole glass half full mentality. But shit, sometimes you have to acknowledge that the water in the glass is lukewarm and disgusting. And so far that’s what I’ve noticed. I have reaped some amazing rewards however. By following the wisdom of the Gods and the spirits, and letting go of my stubbornness.
I have found peace and temporary relief. But that’s personal improvement. At the moment I am watching this new coup in Venezuela and wondering just how badly it’s going to blow up in all our faces. The Western World is showing it’s corruption right now. The judgement being executed by Ogun/Ogum this year is coming.
Western meddling in affairs that doesn’t concern them is going backfire. It doesn’t matter if you believe that Maduro has Venezuela’s best intentions or not. Because I guarantee you : Donald Trump really doesn’t have it’s best intentions. And now Marco Rubio, a local Miami politician is telling us openly and without shame, about how many great jobs Americans will have with Venezuela’s resources. When have you ever seen a thief so disgustingly honest about plans they have with another’s wealth? The main lesson of this year is that corruption will not be tolerated. We covered that in the Divination I posted.
For the Gods shall punish corruption severly. We should instead seek repentance and enlightenment. But those who roll around in their own filth will suffer the consequences. And since my initial Divination on the feast of Haloa mentioned that people under their rulers will suffer with them, I am very, very worried that times even worse than what have already experienced are coming. What makes this worse, is that it isn’t just America that will reap sour rewards.
Western Nations who are backing this coup are putting us all in a nasty and precarious situation. This could very well usher in a World War III scenario. The last two World Wars damaged the world beyond measure. This time around may be worse. I’m sorry to sound so dire, but I have to be honest.
I wonder if we’re done for already. I’ve also meditated on Apocalyptic texts as of late. Most people think of the Book of Revelations. But I think of the book of Matthew chapter 24. It’s called “Signs of Christ’s Return”.
It reads as follows :
24 Jesus came out from the temple and was going away [a]when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him.2 And He said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”
3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the [b]end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the[c]Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 Fornation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will [d]fall away and will [e]betray one another and hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.12 Because lawlessness is increased, [f]most people’s love will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole World as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
Some frightening stuff there. And I had to cut it off there because it only gets worse. To me this is much scarier than Revelations because it sounds so much like our times. With Revelations at least we can pretend that it might not be real because of the surreal imagery in the writing. We can’t pretend here.
Then we have the Seven Fires Prophecies of the Anishnabe-Ojibwe. This one is freakier still. Because almost the entire prophecy has come to pass. They even foretold the arrival of the European Colonists. Now this is a large reading so I only posted the part that directly relates to us.
The text that concerns us now is the following : “The Seventh Prophet was younger than the others who had come and there was a glowing light from his eyes.
You can read the full text of the Prophesies here :
What’s ironic is that these prophesies became popular in 2012. Do you remember? Back when we thought giant tidal waves were going to flood the Earth. Or that meteors would fall. Now we have a very real possibility in 2019 of a global war. And I don’t like what I’m seeing at all. I wonder just what it will take to wake everyone up.
To get people to stand up and say “No more”. How much more has to happen for everyone to see this rise in what I can only call an Orwellian society? I’m tired. I haven’t slept a wink most nights. My friends tell me “Don’t worry, it’s just another war. No problem,”
And I wonder, what kind of people have I been associating with? How can anyone think such a thing. It’s easy for us in the West to not care about dying children and resources being stolen. We’re used to having all the weapons. But what happens when this radicalizes a new generation of militants? Or even terrorists who want blood for what happened to their countries? How many 9/11’s have to happen before people learn? I’m tired of it all. And I worry about when the next attack will happen.
Is there anything we can really do? I hope so. There’s a new group called the Extinction Rebellion which is an ideologyless movement like Occupy Wallstreet. The group seems to encourage rebellion against all governments over pollution and global warming. They protested in Rockefeller Square the other day. They seem to have a back bone.
And things like this, these new movements give me hope that maybe, just maybe, we can choose a new path and survive the final prophesy.
