It Came With The Storm : Ancient Native American Remains Unearthed by Hurricane Nichole

Authorities believe these skeletal remains are that of an Ancient Native American group buried on a Beach

The beach is already legendary among us Floridians. The official name is Chastain Beach. It’s on Hutchinson Island. But most people call it Seven Skulls because once seven human skulls were found there. Every time a Hurricane hits that area in just the right direction, skeletal remains are always discovered.

It’s led to many believing this is an indigenous burial ground. As you can read from the article on it, it’s also believed to be a mystical place. People who live in the town of Stuart say that the bones should be buried again. That interfering with the bodies is bad. Unfortunately the authorities don’t listen.

They were removed from the beach already. Probably on their way to a Museum.

Recently I had talked about a strange Supernatural occurrence during Hurricane Ian. In which I believe a Wild Hunt was unleashed. Some people in Central Florida heard the hooves of Horses on their roofs during the Hurricane. Something none of us have ever reported hearing before. I tried debunking it.

And couldn’t. So I turned to magic. And I saw a horrifying visions. They looked like legions of angry souls. All of them seeking revenge in one form of another.

Go to 1:18 on the video to skip to the part about the unearthed bodies

This video show it from the beginning. The Seminole Nation has claimed the bodies and the beach as belonging to their ancestors. I just thought this was something odd and interesting to put here. Be blessed my friends,

Super Blood Moon, Flower Moon, and Scorpio Lunar Eclipse!

The Moon becomes full at 9:30pm EST

Tonight is the Blood or Flower Moon. Combined with the Scorpio Lunar Eclipse. Here’s some info for you.

All magic will be stronger during this time. For good and for bad. Good and evil spirits wander the places. So beware. Also, pregnant women and women in their periods should not be outside.

According to my Godmother in Santeria, women who are pregnant and on a period are susceptible to spirits. And indigenous witches in Peru actually state that a woman in such conditions becomes liminal during this time. Like a walking doorway absorbing all energy. Wear red strings to avoid the evil eye and harmful spirits. And only be outside to ask for wishes.

Or to do magical work you know you can handle. This is a lot of power accumulated from just a few days. Don’t let yourself get in over your head.

When will the Eclipse start?

9:32pm EST

When will it peak?

12:11am

When does it end?

At 12:54am and then the moon should be normal by 2:50am

Now is the time to charge charms and holy waters and oils. Necromancy and Astrological magics will be stronger. So will summonings and vanishings. Another good art to practice is divination. But be careful since a lot of nasty spirits will try to mess with you.

The Mourner

I was supposed to have written this account last year. But I was so busy with everything that I couldn’t write a single word. So here I am finally committing words to blog. This happened to my baby cousin. And I was called in to help her.

What I am going to talk about is probably one of the weirdest experiences I’ve ever had. It even tops the Witch Bird case from a few years back.

Let me start by saying that the term Mourning Women is an umbrella term for a special type of spirit. They are the opposites of the Llorona or Wailing Women, they can be good or bad, human and non-human. The good or at least neutral ones, are always human souls.

Women who for whatever reason have decided to stay behind because they are mourning another person. And they decide they have to perform funerary vigils for that soul even when they themselves are dead. There’s one famous Mourning Woman in Mexico called La Dama Enlutada from San Luis de Potosi, who visits several churches just to pray for the souls of the dead. This class of Mourner are obviously good spirits, and they may even be psychopomps (guides of the dead) who cross them over.

A Mourning Woman ready for a soul. From the fake “Spirit Photography” of William Hope. Still cool though.

However, there’s a second class of Mourning Woman who are demonic. Either human souls that have been demonized in death, or pure demons that have never been human beings. For whatever reason, they enjoy the motif of a mourning woman.

They take this form as a way to mock their victims. These tend to be what Paranormal Investigators call “Soul Collectors”, evil spirits that capture the souls of the dead who have not crossed over, and enslave them. These poor souls from that point on, are bound to the soul collector until someone is able to bind the entity and free the souls. Unfortunately, this was the type of Mourner that was haunting my cousin.

For a few weeks, I started to get a bad feeling about my cousin. The dread slowly began to build. Until I finally decided to text her. I figured I was being silly right?;

Hola Mama, ¿Cómo estás?

(Hey Mama how are you?)

Eh more or less. Hanging in there,”

What’s wrong?”

I keep seeing this woman dressed in black. I don’t know if it’s for real or if I’m going crazy. But I can barely sleep. She’s in my nightmares too,

Now obviously when she said that, I said screw the texting and called her. I asked her why the hell didn’t she pick up the phone and call me. She said she wanted to but couldn’t seem to find the time for some reason.

It should be noted, these beings can manipulate humans into forgetting. Making us too tired to seek help, or making us second guess ourselves. I have no doubt that’s what was happening here. Especially with how fatigued she sounded over the phone.

I got all the details surrounding this spirit. Which wasn’t much. It was just that it appeared seemingly out of no where and didn’t leave. Then my Mom, who doesn’t practice, but has the gift said the name of a deceased family member. A nasty family member.

It’s Leona, she’s there for some reason,”. Now this family member was a witch in life. A bad one. She was my great aunt. Despite all her claims of being an Evangelical Christian, she was well known in our neighborhood and in our family as being a black witch. My mother’s side of the family are full of practitioners. So they don’t go around calling people “devil worshippers” unless they mean it.

They really meant it with her.

In pretty much every culture, when an evil witch dies, they can become these demonic or semi demonic spirits in death, then haunt the living. Some hurt the living by feeding off of their vital energy. Others just seem to be happy tormenting and killing people in strange ways.

They gave her a Christian burial thinking that would be enough to put her to rest. But even before she was buried, she had been causing trouble. Her spirit returned to haunt my cousin’s mother. It had violently pushed her to the ground.

It kept making trouble in her house with Poltergeist activity, all this before she was even buried. My older cousin suspected it was Aunt Leona. But she pretended it wasn’t real. It wasn’t until I told her that the strange activity was was due to Leona’s presence that she finally admitted she wasn’t imagining it. Leona had raised her.

So she loved her, but she also wasn’t a fool. She knew what kind of person Leona really was. Still she had no idea why Leona was attacking her in death. I had to do a major reading and call some of my strongest spirits. In life I’d never dared gone against her.

In death she would be twice as powerful. I didn’t want to face her with just my normal spirits. I conjured some extra help. The spirits told me that Leona had made a pact with something nasty. It was never officially revealed to me what that was.

Faust selling his soul to Mephisto

Not a demon per say, but something else. Maybe something that serves demons. Maybe some kind of mutated spirit. But whatever it was, it demanded one thing in exchange for the powers she sought. It wanted my cousin and her daughter.

At first, because she was my relative, my cousin asked me not to banish her. But to do special funerary prayers for her. Try to pacify her in death. For a few months it worked. But then she came back.

And this time she didn’t come back alone.

She had completely infested the house with scores of evil spirits. Some former humans and others were clearly never human to begin with. It was one room in my cousin’s house. A room, filled with Leona’s old things. It was shrouded in a dark field of energy.

As thick as pea soup even for my sight. I could not see through whatever was in that room. My cousin and her family was physically sickened just by being near it. Something attached itself to a teenage friend of my little cousin, and before you knew it she was being spiritually oppressed.

Again, it was fucking Leona whom I had seen there. With that nasty, smug, smile. Victory was practically written over her face. In death, she looked like she was in her twenties. Not the 80 yr old whom we buried months before.

The spirit was too strong to enter her friend’s body. But via oppression, it gave her enhanced strength. I had to call on the Hindu Gods and the Ancestors to force this entity to release her. She was finally freed. I told them they needed to dump all of Leona’s stuff on a crossroads far, far away from there.

That time, I had consigned Leona to hell in the name of Lord Shiva. I told her to stay there and be judged by King Yama, the judge of the dead. That time, I saw her spirit sucked into a vortex of infinite darkness. Finally she was gone. Or so I thought.

I finally know now why ancient peoples went to such extremes to keep the dead, dead. Putting boulders on their corpses. Placing blades around their necks to decapitate themselves. The whole nine. It’s because of people like her.

The dead who won’t stay dead.

My banishing and binding had worked for a few months to a year. But then, my older cousin died under mysterious circumstances. Without going into detail, we think foul play was involved. But an autopsy showed nothing out of the ordinary.

It was still a strange death though. We think to this day that it was murder. But we could never prove it with forensic evidence. So it was officially labeled an “accidental overdose” and the case was closed.

But soon after, her daughter, my little cousin began seeing that a tall strange women dressed in black mourners clothes was in her house. This happened out of the blue. It was always around her, she was afraid to sleep. Because when she did, this thing was in her sleep.

And as stated above, it was my mother who revealed the entity’s true identity.

Leona herself. But she looked so different. So different in fact that when I saw her in this form I had no idea it was her. I would never have known this was her. She had changed so much, looked so different.

When I saw Leona the first time as a ghost, she was in her younger form. She was 20 years old, dressed in a short black dress, with long reddish brown hair. She would have been beautiful if not for that sinister smile.

But that had been back when I banished her. This time was different. I had sent her straight to Hell where she belonged. Now I could see that the time spent in the abyss had perverted even more than before.

She was taller than she was in life. Unnaturally tall. Her face was covered by a black mourners’ veil. Human no more. Now she was something else.

I kept seeing her in my mind. And I couldn’t shake this horrible feeling. The feeling that if she lifted her veil, the face underneath would be something so ugly. So deformed, that it could scarcely pass as human. But then I had an even worse thought.

What if there’s no face under there? Not all Mourners have a face. The ones who are faceless, are the worst ones. More powerful for some odd reason. I think the ones who are faceless are given a higher authority. Maybe the lack of a face symbolizes the lack of humanity or compassion.

I know this sounds like a horrible thing to say about a relative. But I just wanted her to go to Hell and stay there. Permanently. So I called my cousin and we did a remote ritual together. First I sent her images of my indigenous spirit.

A near identical replica of the statue I have. I won’t take a picture of mine because the spirit inside doesn’t like it. This one was made by Samuel Lightfoot

He’s inside a statue. His soul resides there, I don’t actually know if he’s a warrior or not. I can’t tell. What I do know is he has powerful magic. He must have done many great deeds in life because he has many feathers in his headdress.

Regardless, he has never failed me. I sent an image of him and of a Animal Spirit that he has with him, a separate statue. I told her to look into his eyes and enter and accept him there with her. Moments later, she felt him and his animal appear.

The Mourner formally known as Leona was very angry. She started trying to attack my cousin. Which was a mistake. Both my spirits took the opportunity to absorb her attack and turn it on her. Restraining her in the process, but Leona wouldn’t leave.

Some power was allowing her to stay. So I needed to upgrade to an even stronger guide. I had them restrain her while I called him down. For this I used a sort of Jewish-Christian and Muslim ritual that I devised. All three religions worship the same God.

So I called on my Guardian Angel in the name of Jesus, Enoch, and Muhammad. I drew the symbols of all three faiths with Cascarilla chalk on the floor. And did separate prayers to God for each faith. Then I just sat kneeling and asking Yahweh for help. Yes, Yahweh.

The God El’s incarnation as a God of war. That’s the version of El that Christians worship. Hence why he’s kind of bloody in the Bible. But I digress. I beheld my Angel, he was cold and hot at the same time.

A warm heat on a cold day. But also a refreshing arctic wind on a hot day, an aura that reminds me of the aurora borealis. I told him the cliff notes version of what was happening, and he instantly departed.

When he did I heard my cousin give a huge sigh of relief.

From Fine Art America

This is the closest representation I could get to what he looks like. But his body is weird, he looks like a giant, like a human with the giant disease. That gives them a bigger frame.

His wings are golden and emit a kind of solar energy. But the center of his body emits a white and cold light. When he turns down his bioluminescence for me, I have seen that he looks like a dark skinned middle eastern man. His black hair slicked to the back. His eyes also glow golden.

“I can feel him,” she said as she sighed. “I feel so good right now,”. The Mourner tried to run. But even if my two other guides weren’t restraining her, she didn’t stand a chance. My Angel is too powerful.

My cousin said she felt his presence like a warm wave of positivity wash throughout the house. Like all the trouble and problems she had just washed away under that warmth. He removed her at once. This time for good. That’s what I should have done in the first place.

But I believed my necromancy and my banishing was strong enough to keep Leona down. No matter how strong in life she was. This time she wouldn’t be allowed to return. Since she had such fun in Hell and clearly had a lot of friends, we sent her somewhere else. I asked him where else in the afterlife could she be sent.

He replied.

“Her demonization must be lifted first. That will take some long time. And when it’s done, we can send her into the void of reincarnation. Let her live life times with her karma as judge and jury,”

So that’s where he took her. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Let her own sins become a burden to her when she comes back to Earth.

I also requested he stay with her for a week, healing her and removing all bad energy from her. She said she slept good for the first time in a long time. A few months had passed and she encountered another Mourner in her house. She thought it was Leona.

This one was weirder than Leona herself. But it wasn’t her. My guardian is too strong, and the place he sent her is sort of like Jewish Purgatory. Before she is to be reborn. See Jewish Reincarnation.

The Curse of the Faceless Woman,” by Urban Legends Online

I interrogated the entity and discovered she was a familiar spirit to Leona. She told us Leona had worked with Mourner Spirits before. And that’s when they met. Shortly thereafter a pact was formed between witch and her new guide. But this guide like I said before, was strange.

Leona had ordered this familiar spirit to appear as her, to act like her, and to have all her memories. In case one day her spirit would be bound or banished somehow. It was interesting to hear this from her familiar.

That Leona had become so obsessed with immortality, that she ordered her Mourner to become a backup of her. Almost like a clone. Her mind and memories absorbed by another Mourner prior to death. And unleashed the moment Leona was taken out for good. I also learned that she kept setting her free every time I banished her.

Leona ordered her to hurt my cousin. To kill her in fulfillment of some pact. On the off chance that she didn’t finish it herself. I ordered her to tell me who the pact was made with and how to break it. And she told me the name of a Demon whose name I will not repeat.

But this entity is female and well known in Jewish lore. You probably already know just by that. She’s also a demon in ancient Sumer. So I called on the Angels Sanvi, Sansanvi, and Semangelaf to empower my curse breaking ritual. It’s the same ritual for breaking generational curses that I wrote about here.

The curse was broken. But something still felt off. Turns out my cousin still had some of Leona’s belongings with her. A cross or a Bible that turned out to be cursed, can’t remember which. I told her to bury them in a separate crossroads.

After that, the hauntings had stopped. No more Mourners. Everything went back to normal. But that was one of the strongest entities I ever had to banish before and I hope to never see one again.

If you see a Mourner, know this; prayers and the normal stuff you use, won’t work. These are really nasty, and really powerful demons. Even protection spells can fall short here. Because these are the children of that demoness that I won’t mention here. But those three Angels can banish and bind her and her children.

The Mourners serve her, they are a type of hag or demon-witch hybrid like she is. So you’ll need to step up your game if you’re going to face off against one of these beings. That’s why since then I have tried to learn all that I can about fighting them back.

The names of those three Angels and also the names of Adam and Eve can be called to drive her out. Especially when written around a Star of David. Of all the Hags or demon witches I have studied, Mourners seem to be the top tier ones. I don’t know why, but they are.

I will keep you updated when I find better defenses against them. But for now, my cousin is better.

What is a Witch? And how does one define it?

Christianity can be just as much a part of a magical tradition as any other faith. From https://www.santeriaoraciones.com

I sat up for about a half an hour to an hour looking for an image of a witch to put up on this damn post. And that was almost as daunting as the subject matter I am going to write about. When I typed in “witch”, there were pages upon pages of women dressed in ugly, long nosed, masks or with green paint on their skins. It seems that in the 21st century we still have an image to shake. And it sucks because I like the Wizard of Oz books.

It seems for any positive thing to appear on a practitioner of magic, I had to use other words. At first I was going to go with an image of a Medicine Man or Woman. But many fellow natives will be offended by the term witch as much as white people are. Yay! Colonialism! Yay Christian Brainwashing! I’m sorry. I guess the pisces moon started out with nice emotions last night.

And today I went back to being a Cuban asshole. I typed in the word Osainista instead. It basically means Osainist or follower of Osain, the Orisha of herbs and nature. He teaches his followers how to do magic with plants. Which includes healing medicines.

That’s where I found this image. I try not to be overbearing. This is a character flaw that I struggle with. I can come off as extremely egotistical. Maybe I am.

I try not to get into long winded debates any more because in the end people will believe what they want to believe. And I’ll be the annoying prick in the corner no one wants to drink with (okay, I don’t drink, but still). Every once in a while I come across something. Something that demands a moral position. Something that would make me feel like a coward if I don’t voice the issue.

So at the risk of alienating other people, I try to say what’s on my mind. As politely as possible. It doesn’t always work though. Such a thing happened earlier this morning. It was on Good Reads.

For those who don’t know, this is like a facebook for book readers, writers, and authors. You get to follow your favorite authors (sometimes even if they’re 100’s of years old). People also buy and sell books on there. This includes everything from text books to novels. A friend in New York introduced me to the site.

I was looking up a book I have wanted to read for two years now : Bless Me Ultima. It’s an amazing book about an elderly Mexican shaman woman named Ultima. She teaches a young boy as her apprentice and shows him some of her magic. I saw the movie, but I still want to read the book. As I have heard the book is even better.

Now the main conflict in the book, is that the Curandera (Spanish : Curer or Healer) is battling three evil sisters who are “witches”. In many cultures, the word witch is used for a satanist or at least a practitioner of black magic. That’s why English wizards and witches began calling themselves “Cunning Folk”. Instead of witch or wizard. It’s why Native Americans often view that word in a negative light. Associated instead with evil spirits and black magic.

And a person in a book review sort of echoed those same negative sentiments toward the term witch. So I went into a long winded post that I swore I would never make again. Explaining that No, we’re not all evil assholes that lure children into gingerbread houses.

I’m going to say something that will probably piss off a lot of people anyway. Curanderismo is in fact Witchcraft. Any magical practice is witchcraft. I wasn’t going to say anything, but too many people accept the Christian dogma that witchcraft is “evil”.

The fact is, many witches stopped calling themselves witches, because Christians label everything under the sun as “satanism”. Witchcraft is the science, philosophy, and art of working with energy. And most energy has positive and negative components. This doesn’t make one type of witchery good or the other evil. Witch translates as “wise” a person wise to the spiritual world.

Can you imagine someone stealing the word “curandero” and using it to define something that is evil or selfish? That would be crazy right? And yet witch, which is a term for a wise man or wise woman is used as a label for anyone that practices black magic. And this kind of demonization of our practices comes from the Burning Times. Who many witches believe never really went away.

Moreover, Curanderos can and do use negative magic if they believe it will benefit the people they are trying to protect. Because it depends on the context. To the other person being hexed for whatever evil thing they did, there is very little difference between a Curandero and any other type of enemy witch.

In Puerto Rico, a lot of Sanse Brujos won’t do return to sender rituals (like what Ultima is doing in the book) because they believe it will propagate an endless cycle of violence between witches. That’s why they have the saying

“Un brujo no puede comer otro brujo”.

(A witch can’t eat another witch).

Regardless of whether a return to sender is justified or not. I keep seeing people put down the old ways unintentionally or define things through a Christianized, European lens. I have seen some Curanderos speak of the term witch with such disgust as if that’s a Satanist or some other black magician. But it’s a dogma forced on our people’s across Latin America by Christian conquerors. By people who thought they were doing Indigenous and African peoples a “favor” by conquering them.

Remember that is where the root of this anti witch sentiment comes from : Colonialism. If someone speaks like that about witchcraft in my presence, I would definitely be offended. And no matter the context they were using. That’s why I use terms like “black witch” “enemy witch” or things in other cultures. To the English and Wiccans, a warlock is a black magic user.

In Haiti bokor is the term for an evil practitioner and so fourth. I write this with the hope that other people will read this and understand the history, and the context. Too many times, we see in movies, books, and shows these old tropes being used. About the good witch and the bad witch. And granted yes there are witches who only practice positive magic and others who specialize in negative magic.

But good and evil are points of view. For instance, I’m sure many of you reading this, associate using magic dolls and putting needles through them with evil right? What if I told you about Witch Doctors or Witch Masters. These are Christian Magicians from the Appalachian Mountains. They are basically magical witch hunters. They battle evil witches.

In Appalachian culture, witches and pagans are all “satanists”. So magic users in that culture who practice positive magic are called doctors. Christian witch doctors will make wooden dolls that they stab with needles to curse a witch. They do this to hurt them in order to prevent them from casting their evil spells on their victims. And how about all those white witches who are trendy and have lots of wealthy clients? Their clients ask for good luck and good energy.

Here’s the problem though, their clients are scum. Their clients are wealthy Jeff Bezos who use magic to get wealthier while their workers starve. Or worse, they could even be rapists and they need the extra mojo to stay out of jail. You see what I’m getting at here? The magic itself is not good or evil. How it’s used determines that.

A fellow blogger on here (Neptune’s Dolphin) once said we needed to break free from the Christian paradigm. That bad habit of defining everything in black and white. Just good or just evil. Now I do believe there is real good and real evil. I do believe in malevolent Gods and spirits.

I do believe in black witches. And yes, I do believe in certain magical practices that are entirely or mostly malevolent. But even these things can be salvaged. For instance, in Ancient Sumer, some demons were beneficial and useful. Like Pazuzu, who frightens away other demons.

He protected the ancient Sumerians from every type of evil spirit there was. The Obeah practice of stealing someone’s Sasa or shadow (for death magic), was used by one Obeah man in his book, to actually heal a person. The magic us used to suspend a person, for the practitioner to heal them and remove damage. Even things as view as negative, can have beneficial uses for people. And similarly, positive energies could be used in a negative way.

Such things have to be carefully defined. Using proper context and with the awareness that we need to be careful of the colonial mindset that these biases came from. Unfortunately, many witches like Curanderos, have fallen into that trap. They view witchcraft as evil and what they practice as “different”. As other.

To me this is being a self hating witch. This is trying to get acceptance from people who hate us. So what’s the point of being open about your magic or your mysticism then? You might as well just stay in the Broom Closet. It would be less hypocritical, and it wouldn’t turn our image back by a thousand years in the public eye. Who knows? Maybe some day, we can type in witch on a search engine and find a less ridiculous depiction than a green skinned lady.

Angry with the Gods

Nehushtan
Nehushtan, the Idol of the Hebrew Goddess Chokmah or Sophia. Moses made it out of Bronze to magically heal the Hebrews from the snake plague unleashed on them by Adonai.

Lately, it seems that this year, as positive and bright as it was meant to be, has gotten bogged down in negative energy. I was hopeful and even boasted that this would be the best of years. But I am reminded again, that what may be good in the spiritual world won’t necessarily be good for us. And this goes for every God and spirit. Even the Christian God sends trials and tribulations in the Bible.

Lately I’ve been pissed off because of it. Every once in a while, it’s good to be angry with your Gods and spirits. Because as my priest (of Zeus) once told me,

“Most of the Gods have never been human. So most of them don’t know what it’s like to be in our shoes and suffer. This is why we normally appeal to our ancestors for most personal things,”

And he’s right. Some of the Gods have been human at least once. Not just Jesus, but Gilgamesh, Herakles, the Orishas in Yoruba culture lived as men and women on Earth as well. And they all suffered horribly. Yet I find myself not doubting my faith, just angry.

I know there are cosmic reasons for why the Gods don’t give us the Paradise we desire. I know much of what’s wrong with our world is our fault. But it also feels like we live in a Multiverse that is rigged from the top. The Gnostics warned us of this. They talked about the Archons, false gods who are Demonic and often impersonate the real Gods.

They are the reasons our world is a living hell half the time. So the Gnostics busied themselves with special exorcisms and amulets to ward off the Archon’s and their influence. I consider myself a Gnostic Pagan. Gnostic Christians understand many things and I agree with much. But I don’t entirely agree with everything they preach.

Still, that’s the Christianity that I love and embrace. Because I feel a divine glimmer of truth in it all. I know that what goes wrong in our world isn’t really the fault of the Gods. I just wish they wouldn’t let things get so bad. And that goes for the Saviour God of the Christians too.

They claim to have all answers, but in reality they are just as lost as everyone else is. Which is why I embrace spirituality, not religion. I decide for myself what is or isn’t right instead of just blindly following religious leaders as many do. This doesn’t mean I don’t ask my leaders for guidance. It also doesn’t mean that I disrespect traditions or elders.

Just that at the end of the day, I think for myself and follow my own connection to the Gods. Which is a prime tenant of Gnosticism “truth comes from within,”. At this moment I am asking them for help in this current pandemic. And that is what I am sharing with you today. This is what came to me in my own meditations based on my mixed practices.

On Hekate’s Deipnon which I celebrated Sunday (day before the last phase of the Moon) I divined and asked for information. Why is this pandemic unleashed? What’s going on? What can be done about it?

Divinations

I did a combination of Bone Casting, Bibliomancy (Catholic Bible), and Cartomancy (cards). This is what I was told :

– Give offerings to Babalu Aye, Oro, and Hekate to fight the spirits of disease. I don’t know what this meant, except maybe they mean the Animistic force or energy of the disease. Everything has a soul after all.

– Pray to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam and bless red strings and hang them on the entry points of every home. This is supposed to symbolize the blood magic that kept the Angel of death away from the Hebrew Slaves in the Bible.

– Also get sticks that look like Snakes and bless them to become like the Bronze idol Moses used to cure people from the plague of snakes (Hezekiah the Hebrew King disrespectfully called it Nehushtan or brazen thing). I suspect it was an idol of Sophia also called Chokmah, Goddess of Wisdom. This is to keep the pandemic itself away. Place them on the four corners of your home and ask them in the name of Sophia, Moses, Aaron, Miriam, finally God himself to ward away the plague.

– Give offerings to the “Mighty Dead” the Kings and Queens of the Ancestors. From Adam and Eve all the way to the dead Tribal Chiefs of various cultures. Great heroes, Saints, Buddhas, and other ascended masters etc..for them to divide into one of two camps : defense and offense. For some to defend you and your loved ones as well as other humans. And others to attack the spirits of disease.

This kept coming up frequently. What it means I can only guess at. The disease is spoken of almost as an entity or group of entities.

– Give offerings to all Gods of the Dead to kill the pandemic and turn away death itself from you, your loved ones, and the world at large.

– Give offerings to all the Animal Totems, Nature Spirits, and the Dead themselves to defend us and block death and disease.

– Offerings to the Apotropai, the Gods who ward off evil. That can be Jesus or whoever else you believe in. Every God has an Apotropaic aspect.

– Offerings to all Healer Gods and Spirits. Primarily I was directed to St. Raphael the Archangel. I even received two emails strangely enough that were related to Raphael. One of them was a new blog post from WordPress.

Three Prayers for Times of Illness and Disease

– Pray to the Sea and Earth Gods and Goddesses and their spirits to replenish the life forces of the Earth. This means going to places that are rural or wild and the sea itself as well as rivers or canals. You’ll have to look into your own religion or culture to see what the acceptable offerings are.

– Now finally, a lot of things are being mentioned towards the end of my divinations about water and the need to purify with water. I don’t know if the key to defeating this pandemic lies in water. But these references do mention the use of ablutions. That is to say, using holy water to heal and purify. I believe all homes need to be cleansed both spiritually and physically.

You don’t need to go to a church for that. Pray over the salt and water separately. Then mix the salt and water together and do one final prayer asking for it to be empowered as holy water. Then sprinkle it daily inside and out of the home. Apparently we are being warned to be hygienic both physically and metaphysically.

– The final divinations mentioned war coming. This can be metaphorical a “war against disease”. Or perhaps it’s a literal war. The US is always declaring war on somebody for natural resources or territories. So that doesn’t even come as a shock to me anymore.

– We are being warned of the old prophecies, specifically I am reminded of the 7 Fires Prophesies of the Ojibwe.

“The Seventh Prophet was younger than the others who had come and there was a glowing light from his eyes.  He said that there would come a time when the waters had been so poisoned that the animals and plants that lived there would fall sick and begin to die.  Much of the forests and prairies would be gone so the air would begin to lose the power of life.

“The way of the mind brought to the red, black, and yellow nation by the white nation would bring danger to the whole earth.  In this time there will arise Osh-ki-bi-ma-di-zeeg, a new people who will emerge from the clouds of illusion.  They will retrace their steps to find the treasures that had been left by the trail.  The stories that had been lost will be returned to them.  They will remember the Original Instructions and find strength in the way of the circle.  Their search will take them to the elders and the new people will ask for guidance.  But many of the elders will have walked the Path of the Souls to the Star Web.  Many elders will have forgotten their wisdom and they will not be able to help.  Some of the elders will point in the wrong direction and others will remain silent because of their fear.  Some of the elders will be silent because no one has asked them for their wisdom.

“The task of the new people will not be easy.  If the New People will find trust in the way of all things, in the circle and remain strong in their quest, they will no longer need the selfish voice of the ego and they can begin to trust their inner voice.  The Waterdrum of the Midewiwin Lodge will again sound its voice. There will be a rebirth of the Anishinaabe nation and a rekindling of old flames. The Sacred Fire will again be lit. Wisdom will be once again be found in dreams of the night and of the day.

“It is at this time that the light skinned race will be given a choice between two roads. If they choose the right road, then the seventh fire will light the eighth and final fire, an eternal fire of peace, love, brotherhood and sisterhood. If the light skinned race make the wrong choice of roads, then the destruction they brought with them in coming to this country will come back to them and cause much suffering and death to all the Earths people.”

I don’t think this needs much interpretation. All the old apocalyptic stories and tales are being brought up by people. Some will say this is the reaction of ignorant religious people. Others still will say that this is just paranoia and it will all blow over. Except pretty much every prophesy we have read from almost every culture perfectly describes our current world.

At some point, one has to stop shrugging and going “Oh well this is normal,” and say NO, this is not normal. Because it isn’t. Accepting it as normal is like that Meme of the Dog in the burning house. Even if you think religion is BS, you have to admit that the fact that the Letra del Año (Letter of the year) out of Cuba said diseases would be really bad this year, is kinda accurate isn’t it?

“But M! We always have diseases etc..”

Yes that’s true, but everytime a Shaman or some other spiritual person makes a prophesy it tends to come true. I remember the first time I read the Oyeku Ofun Temple’s monthly divination saying death would come via water. I kept hearing almost every day of a new water related death. Including a mother who went crazy and murdered her own son. Then chugged his body into a nearby river.

It’s only coincidence if you’re lying to yourself and everyone around you. At some point you have to admit that something strange is going on. And then do something about it. I leave you all with this. I hope it will help arm the religious and spiritual amongst us against this new plague.

Updates

This section is for anything new that appears.

– Necromancy is needed. Specifically, Necromantic rituals for warding off the Dark Dead. Those forgotten and nameless ancestors. It would seem that at the heart or root of this plague are these toxic and sad spirits. It makes sense, diseases can be spread by all sorts of spirits.

But chief among them are Demons, Angels, Nature Spirits, and Ghosts. It looks like at the heart of this pandemic are the angry and restless dead. I believe that humanity having forgotten or abandoned many of our ancestral rituals has caused a surplus flow of the dead. I actually spoke of this recently to two different clients. I am beginning to think the dead are all angry and tired of being forgotten.

With that said, act as if this were Samhain : use protective rituals. Magical charms and crystals, barriers of magic, use Fire as well as the holy water. Specifically begin using blessed candles and incense. In mediaeval times, on Samhain, and even in the Christianized Hallow’s Eve and Hallow’s Day, sacred Bonfires were made to keep the roaming dead away in the Fields.

Another thing which was later used was the Yule Lamp, which was an oil burner with a blessed candle inside. Blessed oil as well, burned at night to keep all malign forces at bay. And especially to empower the thresholds of the house to keep bad things out of the home. If you have anything like that, use it. In my case I don’t, so I have to improvise.

Do rituals to avert evil as if in Winter time when they are strongest! I cannot stress this enough. Winter is dying hard. The departed and dark wintery spirits in general do not want to leave our world. It’s necessary to make them leave.

Tuesday March 24th

I’ve been told to perform the Hungry Ghost Ritual for all the dead everywhere. This is to appease as many as possible to

1) Weaken the pandemic as it seems death itself is causing it.

2) To ask the Divine Forces to permeate all worlds in an effort to cease the pandemic. As much as possible.

For information on what a Hungry Ghost is and how to do the ritual,  please read my 2018 article on Ghost Month.

https://miamimagus.wordpress.com/2018/08/13/ghost-month-2018-the-hungry-ghost-festival/

Thursday 26th

After I performed the Hungry Ghost Ritual, I have been told to pray to the Mighty Dead. To the Great Kings and Queens of the Dead. Asking them all to fight the disease and destroy it. Also for inspiration to help us fight it scientifically. And I was told by the spirits to specifically pray to my own ancestors and ask for guidance.

For protection. And to keep my family together. You reader, should do the same.

Sunday March 29th

We should all be making offerings to the Primordial Gods and Spirits of every religion. Particularly to the really arcane primordials. Such as the Hecatoncheires and also the original Three Cyclops brothers (Greek Religion) Brontes, Steropes, and Arges. Those ancient Black Smith Gods who built the charmed weapons of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. While not everyone agrees they are Gods (just godlike beings), in my personal cosmology I view them as actual Gods.

In the early twilight hours of Saturday, I came to know that these were the Gods I had to personally pray to. I am also giving cthonic offerings to Kronos. Asking him to drain the pandemic away into Tartaros with him. While asking both the Cyclops Traid and the Hecatoncheires to lock the door behind. I also get the feeling these two sets of Gods are the ones we need to ask to handle the aftermath of this miss.

Including the mass crossovers of all the dead.

Thursday April 2, 2020

Final Update

I performed all of the rituals to empower the spirits to fight against the disease baring spirits. I will be doing a whole new Divination now. One for dealing with the pandemic itself.

Conclusion

Take what I have said with a grain of salt. I’m not prophet. In conclusion I will say this : I love the Gods, don’t think that I don’t. I also believe in them, have had experiences with them. But remember, even Jesus asked,

“Father, why have you forsaken me?”

And I don’t know about you. But I find myself asking myself that question a lot in these last few years.

Full Snow Moon & Eclipse Sunday February 9th until Monday February 10th

The Full Snow Moon Feb 7 2020
The Full Moon rising in these days before it officially becomes full on Moon Day (Monday) the 10th.

Lots to talk about. So much so that I scarcely even know how to write it all down. For one thing, the alignment of things. It’s happening in the middle of the Fornacalia. Dedicated to the Roman Goddess Fornax, the Goddess of Ovens. Queen of the hearth and home.

Well in reality Vesta is the queen of hearth and home. But I added Fornax as one of my kitchen Gods. So I view her as a member of my household Gods. So this festival emphasizes not just the feeding of family and the making of bread but bringing prosperity into the home by means of food. Then Uranus in a few days will be going direct.

Which means the long period of darkness associated with the Heavenly King will end. Uranus retrogrades are about challenges to authority and rebellion. They typically happen when you have power figures who need to be challenged. Either in political offices or in your personal life. This can be a parent, a mate, a friend who is always center spotlight etc…now King Uranus is returning to his light or Heavenly aspect.

In which case authority structures go back to normal somewhat. But a Mercury Retrograde is coming right afterwards Monday Feb 17th until March 10th when it goes direct again. Which means everything will go haywire for most people. But I’m getting ahead of myself. That’s the week after of this coming week.

The Full Snow Moon or Hunger Moon is a time when the most snow falls in parts of the US. It’s called the Hunger Moon because Native Americans had trouble hunting for their food during the cold weather. Contrary to popular belief, this Moon is not a Supermoon. The real Supermoon will be in April of this year. You can read a really good article on this in the Old Farmer’s Almanac here :

https://www.almanac.com/content/full-moon-february

I even found new names for this Moon including the Bone Moon. I’m only putting together these two links because I think they give the most efficient information on this Moon. One spiritual and the other secular. I apologize for not having written anything down. I have been busy with work and with my new home.

I will try to write more often. But in the meantime this is a good time to do self reflection. I would advise meditation and lots of it. Have a great Saturday,

Cheers,

The Friday New Moon in the Sign of Aquarius : The Seed Moon

Screenshot_20200123-124750(1)

Hello everyone. So, to the meat of the issue. If you have had issues and problems and things you need to get rid of, now is the time to get rid of them. The Seed Moon is the perfect time to remove bad vibes and even do banishing rituals to drive them all away. The Medium, Cherokee Billie actually talks about how to do a chord removal here :

https://cherokeebilliespiritualadvisor.com/blogs/all/new-moon-january-24-2020-in-sign-of-aquarius

The term Chord in the New Age, basically means spiritual or other energy based bonds that connect people. Some chords are good and beneficial. Others not so much. In Hoodoo, we do a similar ritual to chord removals. Ours are called Cut and Clear rituals.

I will leave you a link to a very good article that explains what those are as well here :

https://magnoliaconjure.blogspot.com/2013/03/cut-and-clear.html

Another good article for Friday’s new moon is this one from Paradise Found.

New Moon in Aquarius | Friday January 24 at 1:41 p.m. PST

New Moons are a double edged blade. The reason is, that while Astrologers in the West view them as auspicious times for planting intentions and calling good luck that’s not how they are seen elsewhere. In fact, Hindus view them as times of bad luck when evil spirits or lost and angry souls roam the streets. Any person caught out in the open during these times can be cursed by a spirit. Or possessed or oppressed.

(Can be, this doesn’t always mean will).

Conversely, this is a double edged blade for Hindus as well. Because it also happens to be a time to honor one’s ancestors. And the Ancestors can both provide good luck as well as protection on this day. New Moons in India are called Amāvásyā. And the method of calculation is very old.

They go back to the ancient Indian, Greek, and Babylonian Tihi calendars which were special lunar calendars with 30 phases. To add further protection as well as the bringing of Abundance, each Amāvásyā is also influenced by a different God. This Friday is Magh Amāvásyā also known as Krishna Amāvásyā. So make prayers and rituals not only to your ancestors, but to Lord Krishna. Or at least a Krishna-like figure in whatever religion you practice.

Ask for all the blessings God can give you. And ask your ancestors for protection and blessing. Since I am not a fully initiated Hindu, but an outside observer who worships these Gods and studies these spirits, I do things differently. First I give an offering to Ganesha and to the dead Brahmins on a sanctuary I have in my property. I ask for protection against any lost or evil spirits out there.

I also go to a crossroads and I give an offering to the Gods of the Crossroads to attract the wicked or lost souls there instead of in the surrounding neighborhoods. To cross them over and send them where they need to go. I also give a double offering to the Crossroads Gods to similarly protect the people in other areas. When this is done, I go home, I remove negative energy using the Smoke Bowl ritual (smudging). I use (ethically sourced) Sage to remove all unclean energy from the home.

I start from the end of the property until I reach the local roads out my front door. I then spend time praying to the Great Spirit for everything bad to begone. Leaving it in his hands. The deceased Brahmins and Ganesha normally help as well. Then I go to a local river.

It’s some ways away from my new home. But the journey is well worth it. I give an offering to the Land and River spirits. I ask for help in bringing good energy, and then on those same local roads, I burn Sweetgrass. I do this to bring the light of the Earth Mother into my property from the front door till the very back.

I leave it to burn in the bowl I use while I clean everything. I remove every speck of dust that there is. Then I prepare my ancestor altars and my Altars for the Gods. First I serve the Ancestors so they can open up communication with the Gods and myself. Then I serve the Gods and ask them to bless my ancestors.

In this case I will be praying to Lord Krishna.  And I stay home all night. I will not go out. I took a day off today specifically to cleanse and clean. To take my dogs out and have them in bed early.

I will also shower early and cleanse before doing my rituals. By Sunset I will not leave. Nor will I take any clients today. Or even practice magic outside of cleansings, blessings, or prayer magic. I will only pray and give offerings.

Then I will seal all the rituals and sleep. And that’s it everyone. You can do practices such as making holy water with the New Moon or even special cleansings like what I do. Another thing you can do is make wishes to the Ancestors and the God you are praying to on the new moon. Ask for certain things.

Just make sure they will approve of what you ask for. And that you approach them with absolute respect. Also if you are interested in the use of herbs for cleansing or healing or anything else, I recommend Mamabear Mauldin, follow her blog here :

Palo Santo & Sage : Exploiting Native American Spirituality for Money

White Sage
Sacred White Sage, picture from http://www.fourdir.com/p_white_sage.htm

For years I have been telling people not to just use Sage or Palo Santo unless you ethically source it. It’s a bad habit lots of spiritual people have. Even I used to fall pray to that. That was before I knew what was going on and why it was important I not do it. Now that I have a blog, I have a wider audience of people to share this knowledge with.

First the Palo Santo. It’s bad enough you can buy it online now like it was clothing. But now people are burning them. I do not recommend burning Palo Santo (Holy Wood) or buying it. Palo Santo is given to a person by a Shaman in South America to be used for protection or as a talisman.

Cutting the sacred tree is considered blasphemy. Unless it’s just a small piece of the wood and it’s done in a ritual by a Shaman to be for you specifically. It was never meant to be used for burning. Or to simply be bought, which by the way, those companies are cutting living trees. Instead of waiting for branches from a dead Palo Santo tree to fall to the ground.

Which is how the Shamans harvest them. And it contributes to economic exploitation of Native Americans across the continent as well as deforestation. Here’s an article I recommend.

asg_b1K3wwHsefnKXc7H2Fart_eRhl9CbVediOLkE22F1573761850754-dfb9df051bab8d316c254c51222668b7.jpg

Why Burning Palo Santo Is A BAD Idea

Same with Sage. Sage is harvested by Native Americans who grow the plant themselves and take care of it. Forming a special relationship with it. Magic shops that sell it are devaluing it and again, exploiting natives. If you must buy Sage, buy it directly from a native who harvests the sage (not all natives use sage so look up the ones that do).

And ask them the proper way to use it. This link is on all 4 Sacred Herbs and what they’re used for.

https://www.oocities.org/redroadcollective/SacredTobacco.html

And there’s things you can use as an alternative to both that are cheap and just as powerful. But without screwing over someone else and nature. For instance you can get a censor like what the Catholic church uses (you can buy regular non blessed censors online. It’s not blasphemy).  And you can place a carbon there and burn plant resins that are ethnically sourced.

Or even things like onion and garlic skins, which can exorcise negative energies and spirits. All you need is a trip to the Supermarket.  Also, while I am addressing this, people are confused by why some uses feathers to fan sage. The Spirit Fan which is a Feather that is wrapped in raw hide and decorated with beads and special symbols drawn into it by a Shaman. It is integral to the process.

The Spirit Fan is sort of like a co-messenger of sorts along with the sage which sends our Prayers to the Great Spirit. Never ever blow Sage smoke. Sage attracts negativity to the smoke and binds it there. So by blowing the smoke you’re sending it to someone else. Fanning it, especially with a Spirit Fan, is the only safe way to use it.

Think of it as a mix of a magnet with tar. Like a magnet it calls forth all the negativity (and bad spirits) hiding in every nook and cranny of your home. So you start from the very end of your home all the way to your front door. To pull everything out. And like tar, the negativity is stuck to the smoke.

It is compelled to leave. Then you walk out the front door and go to a spot you feel comfortable. Always having the sage in a wooden bowl or a metal bowl. Or an abalone shell. Then you pray to the Great Spirit.

Ask him to take away all the evil from your home and life. You ask the smoke to take your prayers up. So you begin praying and continue praying until the smoke stops. When it stops, you have to burn Sweet Grass from the outside into your home. Ask Mother Earth for blessings.

The Sweet Grass is her hair. Go through the front door and stop at the end of the home. The Sweet Grass is used to bless a home with good energy. With holy light from the Mother. Creating a barrier of positive energy that bad spirits hate and can not abide.

Keep asking for blessings until it stops. Warning, if you got a really bad spirit, that Sage or whatever else you use will explode. Dark spirits will resist any attempt to remove them. And that’s one of the ways it happens. But I hope you understand why this is dangerous to the Earth and to other people.

A New Year, A New Spirit

Screenshot_20200105-193047(1).png
A Chief in full regalia

Happy 2020 everyone! I’m sorry I’ve been gone for so long. I have been busy. I moved out of my home last year and it took me until now to get properly situated. I rebuilt my clientele from scratch (apparently a lot of people here have Supernatural problems). I also had to make changes in the mail for letters to get to me and etc.. My guides seemed to have adapted better than I did.

I performed a very elaborate ritual that my new landlord liked very much. He’s not used to seeing magical rituals. And especially not from so many different cultures. I will still be calling myself Miami Magus because I am from Miami. And I’ll still be visiting every few months.

I will still be open for consultations. The ritual I did was one in which I transferred the guides from my old apartment to this house I currently live in. Eventually I did travel back to my old neck of the woods to visit my masters. A lot of the Elderly people I knew died. And I came to pray the novenas with my Godmother.

Her friend was both a Santero Elder as well as a priest of Palo Monte. The man had dozens of guides when he died. As was customary in Palo, his Godchildren and people of his faith appeared to figure out what to do with the guides. Some of them ended up with my Godmother. The other spirits decided to be set free and sent back to nature.

But one apparently stayed around and told the people there that he wanted to come home with me. Now, nobody told me this until recently. This spirit is a Native American chief, from Cuba. When people think of Native Americans, they usually think of North America. But Natives can be found all over Latin America and the Islands.

As a matter of fact, several North Natives settled in Cuba as well. And this spirit lived in an idol he used for native magics. After the rituals were done, I was informed only today as I was leaving that he desired to be with me. It looks like some of the Elders debated whether this was acceptable or not. After all I am not a Palero.

But since I study and work with Native spirits even here in North America, my Godmother convinced them that he was meant for me. I saw him in a vision and brought him and his idol with me. Now he’s in his new home. I have done rituals to introduce him to my house and to the Gods and spirits here. He was welcomed home and now has his own altar with offerings.

So, a new year, a new spirit. I am very happy to start this new year off this way and with this first blog entry. Have a great year everyone!
