Empty fields in Florida that once had many workers
So it finally happened : DeSantis racist, anti immigrant agenda, has begone to gut Florida’s economy. Even workers who do have papers, are choosing to leave out of fear. They see the writing on the walls. And it feels like we are going to have a racial explosion in Florida soon. Welcome to “freedom”.
Even Cubans, CUBANS who have always lived here for generations since before the Revolution, don’t feel safe here. And that includes first generations like me. At some point in that video the one man speaking doesn’t even want to have his face shown. Because even though he’s going through the legal process to stay, he’s afraid that ICE will come for him. And of course we know it’s true.
Years ago, ICE ambushed a Mexican man on the day he was finally going to get his green card. His papers were in order and he was going to get the damn card. Only for ICE to illegally intercept him at the government building before he could get to it. So we know that for all their talks of “legality” they’re about as lawful as a street gang. They just have better funding.

The same thing was more or less done to another Mexican man who was Gay, El Salvadoran, and Brazilian Man. In those cases they were in the New York and Jersey areas. But those are areas that are way more liberal than Florida. So imagine this place. Florida has been Republican for so long, that war criminals from different countries can openly walk the streets.
Such as Luis Posada Carilles the Cuban Exile Terrorist who bombed an airplane in Cuba. His boss Orlando Bosch who also lives and operates here, said the deaths of the innocent were “necessary,”. Because it was part of the struggle against Castro. That was Florida before DeSantis. It’s a lot worse now.
Before you had all these extremist paramilitary groups in Florida. White Supremacists, crazy survivalist/successionist groups, the Christian Right which includes Anti Abortion terror groups. And of course Cuban Exile Terror groups that operate with America’s funding and blessing to Bomb innocent people in Cuba. In order to “free” them. Because nothing says “win hearts and minds” more than killing random people with Bombs.
Or plotting the Assassination of police officers to “liberate” a country. If anyone did that here the chorus of condemnation would never end. But now it’s worse. Now we have Cops acting as the Gestapo in DeSantis “election police” to go after people based on how they voted. With false allegations of “committing voter fraud.”
Remember this is the same guy who thinks Trump won the election. And that Biden took over from a fraud. Can you imagine someone like that being in charge of a secret police force that investigates fraud? That’s not just a conflict of interest. That’s a Goddamn danger to democracy. But what can we expect from America, a country that out Saudi Arabia on the human rights council once.
And 100’s of thousands of workers are vanishing from Florida. And not just the typical jobs you would expect like working in fields. Even people who wash dogs for a living, roofers, or freaking Lyft and Uber drivers. I have already begone to hear of people complaining that there isn’t enough drivers now. Wait till it hits Amazon.
So for all you imbeciles that said,
“They took all our jobs!”
Those jobs are vacant now. Go do them. For as long as they do them. For the same amount of money. And probably zero benefits in many cases. Do them in the heat that punishes people in Florida.
Welcome to the New and Improved He- I mean Florida
Now that’s not the actual name of the law. But it’s a hell of a lot more honest. And it tells you exactly what it’s meant to do. Basically, if a Doctor doesn’t like a person because they have a “religious objection” to who they are or their life style, or whatever, they and the insurance companies can deny healthcare. Which means that if a person is Gay they can be denied.
If the doctor doesn’t like a patient’s religion, they can deny care to that person. And so on and so on. It can even allow someone to deny healthcare to minorities. I mean think about it : Nazis have their own weird religious views. An undercover fascist can easily say their religion prohibits them from treating a person who is black.
This law is meant to strike fear into non white people. Hispanics are already being forced out of here. I’m just wondering when they decide to strip non whites of American nationality even if they were born here. Like Hitler did to the Jews. God I hate this country.
And I hate that I hate it. But I can’t say that I love America. Not with a straight face at any rate. This regime is insane. I’m expecting people will be leaving Florida and other parts of the country on boats soon.
Meanwhile my people (Cuban Exiles) are so blind in their faith for this man. Can they really not see he will turn on them too? That he already has? He’s been sending Cubans back. Or putting them in detention centers. I’m just so sick and tired of being sick and tired. Gods help us.
I’ve heard so much disinformation about what is actually going on in Peru. It’s disgusting. Right Wing Cuban Exiles spreading the belief that this is a “socialist dictator” who was taken out of power. Or CNN and other centrist sites with their “two sides” take. Where they continue to peddle the storyline that President Pedro Castillo was some kind of tyrant.
And all while parroting the coup plotters claims (and not giving evidence for them). This country really fucks with my head. Seriously, they condemn the violence and extremism of January 6th here. But then they applaud it everywhere else. The United States of America continues to be one of the most two faced countries on Earth.
Suffering from extreme narcissistic personality disorder and total disconnect from reality. High on their own American exceptionalism. Let me tell you what is actually going on in the country. President Pedro Castillo is a former Teacher, Union Worker, and he’s Indigenous. Far from being a career politician, he campaigned for the presidency of the country on the platform of real change.
He’s been fighting to bring it to Peru. Instead of Peru being sacked by politicians stealing money from the people. Something so common that we even have a term for it in the US : Banana Republic. Unfortunately for him, that ran contrary to the interests of the ruling Oligarchy in his country. As well as foreign interests.
They also didn’t like that he was giving people of color a real voice in Peru. You see there’s an unspoken evil in Latin America : White Supremacy. Most Latin Americans will tell you racism “doesn’t exist”. And by most I mean people who have a colonial mentality. The white Spanish Criollos (Creoles) dominate our societies.
Most Latin Americans view themselves as some off shoot of the Spaniards. Which is wrong on every level. We are Indigenous, Black, Asian, and even Middle Eastern. The Spaniards were our conquerors and invaders, not our source culture. We have cultures of our own.
But just as most people think of Caucasians when they think of Americans, most people think of Criollos when they think of Latin Americans. So white Spanish culture dominates us. And if you have any doubts about that, look at our beauty pageants. Almost all of the contestants tend to be white women. Very few times are there indigenous or black women.
Asians and other groups are even more rare. But Pedro Castillo was changing that in his country. Which made him powerful enemies, who accused him of trying to “divide” Peruvians. But that was just the start of his problems. The US also didn’t like his reforms.
So the business leaders of Peru, multinational corporations, Western Powers, all led by the US, decided to take him out. Three times the Congress tried Parliamentary Coups to drive him from power saying he was “corrupt”. They made false investigations and smear campaigns to try and claim that he stole money. All with the intentions of throwing him out of office. The same accusations were done against President Lula DaSilva of Brazil.
And all three times he defeated their coups. Because he made sure the investigations were transparent. He also worked with the legal process. He brought in independent investigators. And they proved that the “investigations” done by congress were nothing but farcical political theatre.
The third time they tried he decided to try something different. He brought in lawyers. Their own investigations proved they didn’t even have the authority to have initiated the impeachment proceedings against him in the first place. In order to do that, you need hard evidence of wrong doing. Also, the polls showed strong support from the people.
Despite how much they have poured money into their own propaganda machines to make him look bad. But despite all of that, their smear campaign failed. They acted as if just by making up this nonsense, it made it true. Instead his lawyers told him there were clauses within Peru’s constitution that supported him. And that if a government body was co-opted by foreign or seditious powers, the acting President could temporarily dissolve the congress.
The infiltrator and the Traitor
Until a new congress could be elected. So on December 6th, 2022 Lisa Kenna, a former CIA agent who is now the US Ambassador of Peru, had a secret meeting with Gustavo Bobbio the Defense Minister. And the next day the President was arrested by the Police, and the Army shut the country down. Suspending all civil rights and civil liberties. Even banning free speech and freedom of movement.

And Dina Boluarte became the Dictator of Peru ever since. They’ve been trying to white wash the dictatorship since then. Again repeating the unfounded claims of corruption. And instead of calling what they did a Coup, they claimed it was normal legal action (because the army shutting down a country is totally normal). And then trying to act woke,
“Look! It’s the first female President of Peru!”
You mean Dictator. You actually have to be elected to be President. And the whole nation hates her and her regime. They tried this in Bolivia with Evo Morales as well. They thought if they replaced him with a female indigenous dictator that people would applaud it and say “Progress!”.

They really thought Bolivians were that stupid then. And they think of Peruvians now. Protesters have demanded that if the former President is removed, they should have new elections. Not a Dictator. But the current regime refuses.
Talking points used by the far right also include rumors of “Marxist infiltrators from Bolivia”. Or “paid protesters” that allegedly were sent by the President. Fucking seriously, as if no one would notice a massive force of people from the Bolivian Border coming into the country. Now they’re pointing fingers at the people calling them “coup plotters” and “domestic terrorists”. Even if this man were a Dictator, it still doesn’t explain why they felt the need to shut the entire country down and suspend human rights.
So this is what a terrorist looks like? Hmmm
I guess nothing says “democracy” like firing on unarmed protesters and killing students. So please people, don’t come at me with this bullshit about President Castillo being corrupt or a tyrant. Or that he deserved to be the victim of a coup. You can’t ask for “civility” while engaging in Terrorism. And you can’t tell us to “believe in the system”.
You’re too busy working to undermine it every time someone you don’t like is bringing real change. That’s rigging the system in your own favor. That’s not democracy. That’s hypocrisy. Here’s some reading materials for you anyone interested in looking past the media block.

Every time I see somebody post one of those positive blog posts about how positive a retrograde can be, I wanna strangle them. Iâm sorry but itâs true. That doesnât mean that I reject the fact that retrogrades ultimately do help us. But I donât have to like how the Gods are choosing to help us. In fact if being a part of both the Voodoo and Hoodoo community has taught me anything itâs that I have a RIGHT to say fuck you to whoever is up there ruining my month or months with a retrograde.
Some root workers are even known to use reversal candles to send the retrograde energy back to the planet. So no I have no intention of being positive about it. This is just one giant cluster fuck, from an even bigger cluster fuck of a year. So fuck all you hippies out there telling us itâs for our own good. Because this year was shitty enough without adding to it.
I donât need someone who looks like theyâre high on pixie dust, telling me this shit in a positive Xanax and Weed infused voice. Fuck you!!! I donât want to hear shit like :

What all the Retrogrades here have in common?
All three Gods and their planets to a certain extent, have associations with money. Or Systems of authority. Nothing out of the ordinary right? Weâre already going through inflation. Well no not exactly. You see, this also has to do with systems of authority.
Which means that there is a greater potential for anger in the streets. As people are tired of the bullshit and will make sure you know it. Especially if that authority is oppressive. And with the recent police execution of Jayland Walker in Akron, Ohio weâre already seeing people defy authoritarianism. Which is a good thing.
Whatâs bad is that repressive systems tend to be violent and bloodthirsty when theyâre being challenged. So expect more police state repression in America. But also expect more rebellion from the masses against the police state. Thatâs probably one of the few good things about these retrogrades. People are being forced to see reality.
The land of the âfreeâ isnât quite so free after all.
Jupiter
Jupiter is the King of the Roman Gods. Therefore heâs pretty much is in charge of everything. He can be everywhere and do anything. Like the Christian God. Heâs the Great Father of us all.
So when he enters his death aspect, which causes his planet to go retrograde, that means everything is out of whack. The universe almost seems to be in some kind of disorder. Heâs mostly associated with : prosperity, destiny, control of your own life, power, magic, order, like I said everything. Usually when Jupiter is in his heavenly state you get a feeling that you have âthe golden touch,â. All things can be done by him and through him.
But when things go bad, and the energy turns inwards you get the opposite. Where once there was order, now there is chaos. Where once you had prosperity or at least stability, now all you have are debts and uncertainty. Where before you were powerful and in control of your game, now that potency control is gone. And you can also become petty.
Angry, prone to mood swings almost as if you were bipolar. You become greedy and have a lust for power and all the good things in life. At the expense of others. And the shadowy and darker parts of yourself start to rear their ugly heads. Now there is a silver lining to this.
Thatâs when youâre being shown the truth about yourself. As with every retrograde, your true motives are being exposed. Youâre being shown whether or not youâre acting like a good person or a shitty person. Whether the things you want to do are for the right reasons or not. If they arenât, donât expect Lord Jupiter to help you achieve such goals.
You are to take the time necessary to find out what it is Jupiter (the planet and the God) wants you to change in your life. Now this retrograde hasnât happened yet. Jupiter is slowly moving into his aspect as a God of the dead on July 28, 2022. And will remain in retrograde until November 23, 2022. So you still have some time.
But now is the time to ease into praying to his darker side. And ask for help in changing your life.
Saturn
Next we have his Father, Saturn. Thereâs a debate about whether or not Saturn is the same as Kronos from the Hellenic (Greek) religion. When the Romans conquered Greece, they started to synchronize some of the Gods together. And donât get me wrong there are arguments for some of them. But Saturn was originally seen as a peace loving God of abundance and prosperity.
His wife Lua was the one seen as the destructive force. But with time, the story of Kronos was lifted from the Greeks and placed onto Saturn. And he became a bloodthirsty and malevolent God of sacrifice and cannibalism. Where before he was seen as the God of the Golden Age of humanity. Of wealth and of all good things.
Like Jupiter his son, he was also the Supreme Overlord of the Universe. Now regardless of whether you think they are the same person or not, one thing is true. Even if heâs a good and benevolent God, heâs still seen as a God of discipline and karma. Which means his influence can be hard to tolerate. And when heâs in retrograde, heâs in a foul mood.
Retrograde for him actually increases his influence. Saturn is going to influence us in the areas of control over our lives. And whether or not the limits you set on yourself have been restricting you. So this is a time of deep introspection. Find out what is holding you back in life.
And then get rid of it. It went into retrograde on June 4th. And it ends on October 22nd. Of course by then, everything will be on Cthonic power. The dead will rise and what not as the veil starts to thin.
So it kinda cancels it out for me.
Neptune
And last but not least, Lord Neptune. This is a retrograde of head blindness. That means confusion and not thinking clearly. A head fog. Itâs a real pain in the ass for getting things done.
Illusions and delusions are also a pitfall of this retrograde.
But there are also benefits. Itâs a retrograde of dreams and even shamanic travel. Itâs one for grounding and centering and meditating. More so than any other retrograde. For this reason itâs more or less one of my favorites that I can actually enjoy.
Old addictions and repetitive thoughts come out during this retrograde as well. Anything from fantasies and dreams. To painful memories, loss, and I have been told that an addiction or two can be made worse. Or perhaps that isnât the right word. Obsessions may be a better description.
Things you thought you were over that keep coming back to bother you. In fact thatâs one of the bad things (or good depending on how you see it) about this retrograde : To see through illusions and delusions. Even if showing you the truth means forcing you to see it by destroying a false. Obviously itâs good to not have unhealthy delusions. But tearing off the bandaid right away can do just as much harm.
It starts June 28th and ends on December 3rd.
Ritual
Now is the time to also do some clearing rituals and magic to be able to think more clearly. Focus, meditation. The way I would do it is nothing fancy. Low magic and working with the Retrogrades. Mage friends of mine would do a complicated ritual to cut through the Retrogrades.
But I believe in working with them. Still, that doesnât mean you canât make a good old fashioned retrograde charm. Something for protection. Maybe a bone charm or a stone. Take care of yourselves everyone.
So I have decided to make a series about all the crazy people that live right here in Florida. Some good, some bad, some really amazing people. And some just plain crazy. So I am starting off with a short post today. This guy.
âSeriously, fuck Daylight Saving Time. What a pointless and stupid thing it is,â
Daylight savings is one of the most idiotic inventions ever. And no, it wasnât Benjamin Franklin who invented it. Franklin had satirized the idea of Daylight savings. Because he also thought it was stupid. It was a New Zealander who invented the idea.
And to think this man proposed the idea because he liked having extra time to collect BUGS. No, I shit you not. This atrocity against humanity is so bad, that even my friend George apologized on behalf of all people named George.
But seriously, poor Hudson had no idea how it would be used. Mr. Hudson had a job that allowed him to shift his schedule. And it gave him extra time to indulge in his hobbies. He proposed Daylight savings so people would have extra time to relax and have fun. Unfortunately, thatâs not at all what happened. Businessmen/women have used it to squeeze extra hours of work out of their workers.
In effect making our lives more stressful. All to make them wealthier. So like all things, Daylight savings time has been perverted from its original purpose. Perhaps what we need to do is to reclaim it. And try to enjoy ourselves and have hobbies again.
On the upside, Puerto Rico said fuck you to the corporate DST we use today from the get go. They have never used it lol. But donât blame poor George. Blame the Corporate world that uses this initially wonderful idea, to screw with our bodies further for a buck. And now I leave you with one final thought.

I donât say this lightly mind you. While Terrorists didnât knock these towers down, the loss of life and the devastation is so horrible that it weighs on us (well some of us). The exile protests have largely drowned out all reporting on Surfside which is shameful to say the least. The pain this left in my heart was so bad that I prayed for something, anything to replace it. I remember when I was a teenager watching the tv when the second airplane crashed into the world trade towers.
I was at school when it happened. I never thought I would witness anything even close to that again. Then, some weeks ago, when I was doing my laundry I saw reports of a condo at Surfside, Florida collapsing.
When the collapse happened, everyone thought it was a Hurricane or an Earthquake
It happened at Champlain Towers in Surfside. I couldnât believe what I was seeing. I thought it was another terror attack. Whole families, and their pets trapped under the rubble. There was so much wreckage that the state of Florida was overwhelmed.
Crews from Mexico had to come here to help us out. I remember laughing bitterly at the silent irony. So many Cuban Exiles in Florida are racist against other Hispanic groups. And they hated President Lopez Obrador for his support of Cuba and Venezuela. Many exiles cheered when it stopped being a sanctuary city.
Yet here the evil commie President of Mexico was sending crews to help the ill equipped Republican Governor of Florida. And to try and save as many families as possible. Many of those families being you guessed it, Cuban immigrants. I hope after this, nobody ever complains about Leftist Presidents or Mexicans ever again.
Unfortunately, when Los Topos Aztecas (The Aztec Moles) crew came from Mexico, the Florida government didnât allow them to help. Oh they claimed they werenât allowing international resources to be used (why not?). But they sure allowed Israel to get involved. So a state that violates human rights could get involved in Surfside, but not a country with a Left Wing President who is closer? Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Welcome to Dumbfuckistan aka Florida.

What really made me angry is that later on, we found out the buildings had structural problems. And that these problems have been around since the 90âs. Inspector after inspector told the owners of Surfside that the buildings werenât safe. When in what was it, 2016 or 2017? Another inspector said it needed to be fixed quickly. That peoples lives were in danger.
And then rabid Libertarians and Republicans claiming âsocialismâ is at fault because if Private Inspectors were allowed to do the inspections this wouldnât have happened. Anyone sent from the government is socialism to them. Anything to distract from the fact that Americaâs free market system is killing us all. Prices rise but pay stays low. People die, but thatâs okay because itâs all part of âdemocracyâ.
Florida and America, I try to love you, but every day I just feel more and more disappointed in you. You are not the âland of the free and home of the braveâ where âstreets are paved with goldâ that my family told me you were. Youâre a nightmare and a shitshow. And itâs only getting worse with each generation. I donât care who I piss off with this.
Iâm a Cuban American and enough is enough already. Enough of useless Republican politicians that let the business interests in Florida pervade over us all. Enough of rampant crony capitalism. Enough of snubbing leaders from other countries who want to help us simply because they are leftist. Enough of the bullshit already.
All they do is moan and whine and complain about Castro and Communism. While they support crooked leaders that tell us that they send âprayers and thoughtsâ when what we need are real leaders like Lopez Obrador who actually send help. I am tired of almost no Democrats getting voted into power here cause they must all be âcommiesâ. Iâm tired that events in another country, overshadow the tragedy of Surfside here. Almost no one even remembers now.
I really do love Florida, I just wish it wasnât in the dark ages.
