My friend Nimue Brown of Druid Life made this amazing compilation post of my blogs. Wanted to share it with all of you! I am so happy and blessed that she did this. She’s one of the great bloggers and writers on here. And she took the time out of her busy schedule to share my blogs with her readers. Please subscribe to her blog as well! 😃
The Great Goddess herself, whom this festival is dedicated to. Hail Selene!
So after yesterday’s extensive article on day 1 of the Noumenia or “new moon” festival, we go to day 2. The actual Noumenia. Ironically this is the easiest of the three day festival. There isn’t much to unpack here. The most complicated day is the first day.
I can also tell you that today is the total opposite of Hekate’s Deipnon. Where the Deipnon is isolating to a point, where you stay in doors all night. Where you prepare your shielding and warding like crazy to keep all of the bad spirits out, this is about joy and happiness. It’s a celebration of the new lunar month. Tonight is actually the best night to have a garden party in your home with friends.
To celebrate with the Nymphs. To have good drinks, and to eat good food if you want to. It doesn’t have to be that way either. These are just ideas. This day is one of the most liberating.
And it is a festival after all.
Today at Sunset, on the day of the last quarter of the moon I had bidden farewell to the old month. And I welcomed the new lunar month. So first thing is first, besides Hestia, we’re also working with Apollon Noumenios. Little is known about this version of Apollo. Except that clearly he’s a part of the Noumenia festival.
What we do know is that he’s a cleanser of negative energy. In fact we bless the lustral waters in his name. He and Hestia preside over this ritual. This day is dedicated to the Goddess Selene, the Titan Goddess of the Moon. She’s one of the Titans who continued to have a place in the Universe.
Even after Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades took over the Universe in their rebellion. I also made slight changes and alterations in how I celebrate this day. And I will also point out what I changed and how I do it. That way you know the difference. Let’s begin.
We’re also working with Zeus Ktesios. If you remember yesterday’s article, this is a household aspect of Zeus. We make a jar that we decorate in his name for Zeus Ktesios as his idols. Here is a picture from another website on what to put inside the jar. Now yesterday we dumped the contents of the jar, today we restock it.
I like to use a special prayer from the top of my head asking Zeus Ktesios to fill the jar with the spirit of prosperity. Good energy. Hope. And General good luck. I visualize a light around me that enters the jar.
And that once I close it, the good energy is sealed with me. It is then put into the pantry to bring prosperity to us all.
Focus
The focus on this day is again, purification. The difference is the Deipnon was a deeper and more chothonic cleansing. But this is a lighter cleansing. And a powerful blessing by means of the moon. It’s a day to clean magical tools.
To bathe in the light of the dying moon. To soak up it’s final blessings. You can also charge talismans during this time. And you can make holy water. Specifically I make Noumenia Water to Apollon using this power.
These prayers I made up for my own rituals. You can either use them, or make up your own. Or even just speak from the top of your head when you do the ritual. Either way, this is something to keep around in case you’re tired and stressed and can’t think properly.
The celebration is very easy to do. First you need to cleanse with the lustral waters by washing your hands and asking Apollon Noumenios for purification. We give a libation of water first to Hestia,
“Hestia, daughter of Zeus please intercede on our behalf with the daughter of Hyperion and Theia. Prepare the way for tonight’s festivities, may the home and hearth shine with mirth and love. May the spirits of the household dance and praise the Theoi (Gods) and Theaia (Goddesses),
Yammas,”
Pour a libation of water in her honor. Now, for Apollon Noumenios.
“Hail! Apollon son of Zeus, divine messenger of the Great Father, Lord of Oracles, Master of Wisdom and Magic. Bringer of the Sun’s life giving rays, holy prince of Olympus, we call to you in your function of Priest of the Noumenia. May you intercede in our behalf with the Queen of the Moon herself. Bring to us all the blessings of this new month. Bless us Apollon Noumenios with the power of this new moon,”
Pour a libation of water. Now you can pour water to the Queen herself, Selene.
“Oh Holy One, Precious Daughter of the Titans, illuminator of the night. You bring us light in the darkness just as Apollon and Helios bring forth light in the day. You show us that we needn’t fear the dark. You provide for us and all the creations a lamp by which we can see through the deep shade of the night. Bless us with the power of this fresh new moon. May we be cleansed and purified. May you bless our new month. May we have only the good luck of the moon,”
Pour a libation for her. Now take the final portion of the water and pour a final libation to Hestia.
“Hestia, Queen of the home and the hearth, bringer of fire and comfort. High Priestess of all rituals and festivals. No celebrations can be made unless you are giving offering and worship first. We call to you to now seal this ritual and celebration. Accept this libation, Goddess who is first and last,”
And that’s it, you’re done. Now you can add stuff or change it up. I will give you a few ideas in the following. Including some additions to the liturgy. This is what I do.
Here are some of my personal changes to the ritual.
Liturgy of the Night
Besides Selene, I also worship
Nyx the Goddess of Night and her consort Erebus the God of the Night mist.
Asteria the Titan Goddess of the Stars (Hekate’s Mother)
And last but not least, the Demi God and hero Endymion. The son of Zeus and the Queen of Elis, Calyce. Endymion wasn’t a typical prince. He was a Shepard and working the land, he was also a scientist. Specifically an Astronomer.
In fact, Pliny the Elder actually credited him as the first Astronomer. At least in Greece. If this is true, it also means the lunar-solar calendars came from him. And perhaps star charts were probably based on Endymion’s own sciences as well. Even though he was the son of Zeus, Calyce’s husband King Aethlius, loved the boy as his own.
Though whether he knew about it or not we don’t know. People only figured it out when he was growing up and became almost supernaturally handsome. And this is how he relates to Selene : of all the things in the sky he loved to watch, he loved the moon most of all. And Selene began to watch him and fall in love with him. Her moon beams would caress him at night as he slept.
There are many even today who think it went beyond that. With the Goddess descending upon the Earth in human form to be with him. So Endymion is her mate. So for me, it only makes sense to worship him with her. Also I practice magic and I love science as well.
Endymion had a good heart. He loved his animals. He never once allowed his princely status to make him believe he was any better than anyone. Not even his dogs and farm animals. Is it any wonder that he was able to move a Goddess’ heart to love?
So he’s a personal hero for me. I worship Endymion as the Demi God and Hero of Science and Astrology as well as Astronomy. Obviously I worship her first and foremost. And as per Pliny and other historians, he did in fact exist. People are still try to find Prince Endymion’s tomb to this day.
Though the popular legend states that he never died. Selene loved him so much that she asked Hypnos the God of sleep to keep him asleep eternally. That way she could watch over him. Supposedly his body is hidden in a vault somewhere. Where only Selene can visit him.
Hypnos granted him the ability to sleep with his eyes open so he could gaze on her beauty. Also, him being asleep isn’t stopping him much. Apparently they still have sex. And so far he fathered a whole class of Goddesses with Selene. They’re called the Menae.
Besides water libations, sometimes I offer up cookies that resemble the full moon. Or any kind of lunar decoration. Or even just gingerbread. I don’t know why I keep feeling like I should use that. Maybe those are my household spirits giving me ideas.
I also offer up milk or cream to symbolize the moon. And my nature spirits have a sweet tooth so I am guessing that’s part of it. The Gods (at least with me) always share their food with the spirits. I always like to nurture them all. And finally I like to give silver things.
The Ancient Hebrews performing a sacrifice. Burning a goat or ram (can’t tell from this image) to Adonai. You see Adonai depicted as Zeus at the very top riding the smoke. It’s said the smell of his animal sacrifices when burned attracts him. The fire is how he eats. Burnt offerings are done for a variety of reasons. Including expiation of sins.
For those who don’t know, we had a combination of a New Moon, with a solar eclipse in Scorpio last Sunday. It lasted until Wednesday. Wednesday was when the solar eclipse happened. New Moons naturally belong to the dead and to dark spirits. And so are Solar Eclipses.
The Sun Gods enter their chthonic aspecks as Gods of the dead. This is the perfect time for the removal of negative energy. Or sending it out. I call these dark cleansings because we are working with dark energy to take the bad energy away. Like the Bloodmoon, a Scorpio based Eclipse (and really eclipses in general) force you to face that which you fear the most.
They force you to confront problems and burdens you’ve been holding onto for a long time. They also end a chapter of your life to start another. In my case, I had a very personal journey to make.
Dealing with the Sins of the Past
Lost in the darkness, seeking the light
I got into an argument with someone from my past. And this person reminded me of a time when I wasn’t so spiritual. And in fact I didn’t care who I hurt as long as I got mine. Even people who loved me. And who I should have loved back.
When I was younger, and far more foolish, I was a misogynist. I didn’t think I was a misogynist back then. In fact I thought I was a feminist. What I was, was one of those wanna be “woke” assholes thinking I believed in equality. It wasn’t all fake.
I truly believed I was a feminist. Part of the reason I turned against Christianity was due to the way most churches treat women. Especially my church. I was raised to believe that men are above women by divine right. Or some other horseshit like that.
Because Adam was born before Eve etc.. even though the original Hebrew Bible says that Lilith was created at the same time as Adam. And she was his equal in all respects. I was a womanizer. A compulsive liar. I constantly cheated, and I didn’t fully understand that I was controlling.
I learned this abusive behavior mostly from my dad. But also from the church, and the culture of toxic masculinity that pervades the West. And even when the person I was with was a genuinely good person, I couldn’t be faithful. Sometimes when I cheated I convinced myself that I was “loyal” and that this other person was just a side person. Someone to satisfy me when my regular partner wasn’t around.
I look back on that now and feel disgusted with myself. I wasn’t the best big brother growing up either. I was a teenager and I was so caught up in my own bullshit that I didn’t see that my sister needed me. And my Mother and Paternal grandmother were at odds with me as well. For different reasons.
How could this have ever been me? I’m 36 years old now. Not some young, cocky, asshole. After opening my eyes to several truths, I began to change. To remold myself and cast aside the bad things in my heart and mind. To become a better person.
After becoming a Pagan and a Magician that quest took off to even greater levels. I learned about the Mother Goddesses. I formed an especially close link to Hera, Nemesis, Demeter, and Gaia to name just a few. To Inle and Oshun, and to Chang’e and Kwan Yin. I learned I had a lot of work to do.
And they had no issue kicking my ass from left to right in my mid 20’s to get me to learn. My relationship with my mother and grandmother was better. I made amends with my sister eventually. And I am still changing. Still learning.
But I no longer cheat, no longer lie, no longer think I am some big “woke” feminist ally. I pursue the goal of just being a good and decent person. When I can achieve that, truly achieve it, then maybe I can be called a feminist. Until then I feel that it’s an empty title. The Cuban Exiles tend to be homophobic.
Tend to be womanizers and liars. This isn’t me hating my own culture. I’m just being honest. For years I had decided to turn my back on all religion and spirituality. I went headlong into hedonism.
And I stopped caring about people. Which led to a lot of heart ache both for myself and the girls I dated in my youth. After the nasty experience I had last Saturday, I realized I was deluding myself. I had a reading done by a friend of mine in Utah. And she told me that until I apologize to the women I have hurt, I haven’t made any amends.
Little did I know, that all of this was playing out for a reason. Because Scorpio’s influence on the New Moon and the Solar Eclipse was moving karma around. This has been a burden on my soul for a very long time. And I had kept it deep within myself. I buried this part of my past because I didn’t want to admit I had ever been this ignorant.
I began calling up women from my past and apologizing. I sent more than a dozen emails. I even wrote letters by snail mail. Some didn’t care anymore. Others forgave me.
Some said they don’t know if they can forgive me, but my apologies gave them closure. And others I am still waiting to hear from via the letters. I had begone to make amends. I was ready to begin the dark cleansing with Scorpio.
Priest burning the body of a sacrificed animal to Adonai
I had to draw on my training to figure out how to perform this cleansing. A cleansing that would be strong enough to do this. To channel the power of the Scorpio fueled new moon and solar eclipse. I decided to do a burnt offering. Thing is, I have no intentions of ever hurting an animal.
An artistic representation of the Pharmakos
The Pharmakos is the human version of a scapegoat. Humans would be chosen (or sometimes volunteer) to represent all the bad energy in a town or city. And then they would be thrown off a cliff after having weights of some sort attached. I know this is just an over simplification. So I linked an article from Harvard on this practice.
With the death of the Pharmakos, the bad energy was killed as well. In modern times, we use dolls or some other idol to be our Pharmakos in Greek expiation rituals. So I decided to incorporate the burnt offering practice with a Pharmakos.
My Pharmakos paper at the Hearth
My spirits reminded me of the power of burning magical papers and petitions to get things done. So I took a piece of Bible paper from my old catechism Bible. I collect Bible paper. It’s an old Bible so the pages started falling apart little by little. I mostly use them as paper talismans.
I drew the Triangle of Solomon on it. Now this is normally used for conjuring, trapping, and controlling a demon. The triangle protects the conjuring sorcerer. And the circle forces the entity inside and binds them. I summoned the sinful and bad parts of my soul into the circle.
And the triangle was keeping me safe so that as it burned, the bad energy couldn’t return or spread to anyone. I didn’t film it or take a picture. The last thing I needed was an image captured of negative energy burning. The paper was only beginning to be blessed by the Hearth in those images. So those images are safe.
I performed a technique in Yoruba religion called Sarayeye. This means you ceremonially use a spiritually charged item like an idol, herbs or flowers, food offering, stones or sticks, etc.. to absorb all the bad energy from your body. You take the chosen object and rub it from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. And you say words of power calling upon all bad things to leave your body. This can be anything, including bad luck and disease.
“May any harm or thing that causes harm, be displaced from my body and soul and bound into this offering,”
– Simple charm taught to me by an Elder in Santeria
In this case I did an hour long prayer. I poured my heart and soul into it. I even started shaking and crying at some point. Broke out into a cold sweat as if I had a fever. I felt nauseous.
The Gods spoke in divination later and told me I had “shed my sinful soul,”. As if I had separated from an evil twin. When the last of my wicked soul had left my body (well, as much as a normal human can shed) my body slowly went back to normal. I finished 10 mins before sunset. And I took the paper and burned it outside on a crossroads.
The smell of Bible paper was sweet. It almost smelled like Palo Santo to me. When the paper burned I felt a strange sort of relief. And the feeling of something that broke in me. And I felt what can only be described as spiritual pus leave my body.
The next day, I felt like shit. I was sore all over my body as if I had lifted a thousand pound truck. The holy fire of the hearth match and the paper’s own inherent holiness channeling the celestial fire. It felt as if the holy flames had burned what was evil inside me. This isn’t a magic bullet that makes my old selfish ways okay.
But it’s a starting point towards the path of redemption I hope. I also prayed to Zeus Meilichios for purification. Confessing my sins before his idol, and allowing him to take as much miasma away as possible. It’s a harder process than I thought. Each time it’s harder to talk to someone I hurt.
I wish the universe could have given me a warning ahead of time.
Karmic Structures and their destruction
My Buddhist Shrine
After I had performed the ritual, I prayed to the Laughing Buddha. He’s always been a Buddha who has walked with me. A Patron and protector. I asked forgiveness for what I had done years before. And to find a way to be redeemed. I spoke to him out loud about everything.
An then I stopped suddenly. Suddenly I felt this disturbance. Like a rock thrown into water. And I felt him in my heart. Almost like having a conversation but without words.
He told me that my rituals and my attempt at amends weren’t enough. I needed more.
The Journey of Jetsun Milarepa
Milarepa’s Cave where he lived surrounded by his animals and nature.
The story of Milarepa is a really messed up one. It starts like this. He came from a wealthy family. But when his father died, his aunt and uncle who were very greedy, stole all the property. As well as the money and left him and his mother nothing.
So his mother sent him away to learn the black arts.
Not Tibet, this is a depiction of Black Magic in China, but for the purpose of the story I thought I would use it. From this article
When he returned as a powerful dark magus, his aunt and uncle were throwing a party. Their son was about to get married. And many people had come to attend to feast. He used his power to summon a giant Scorpion monster to raise the house. And 35 people died.
The aunt and uncle lived however. When the villagers came to kill him, he summoned a hailstorm that destroyed their crops. Which forced them all to back down. After years of wandering the land as a black magician, his heart grew heavy. He began to hate himself.
And to regret his past sins. He decided to learn new ways. And he found a Lama or “chief”. This is the Buddhist version of a Guru in Hinduism. It’s a teacher of the Dharma.
Marpa the Translator
His Master would be Marpa the Translator. One of the greatest Buddhist masters of all time. Marpa was a hard Master to serve. The guy made him go through hell in order to prove himself worthy. I’ll spare you the long history lesson.
But he ordered Milarepa to build three towers and then destroy them. He later told Milarepa the reason for this. Each tower represented all of the bad karma and suffering he sent out into the world. The task had to be difficult because it was a sort of penance. Each time a tower was constructed, it was instantly imbued with all the bad spiritual energy.
And when it was destroyed, the karma was destroyed. That’s what the laughing Buddha told me to do. I have to create a karmic structure to destroy. In penance for my old ways. It was revealed to me by him what I had to do.
And how many times I had to do it. That part of my ceremony I won’t talk about. It’s just for me to know. I started on that already. And hopefully I can continue to make amends.
What I can say however is that it’s not a large structure. And it isn’t as many times as Milarepa. While my past self may not have been too enlightened, I never summoned a giant scorpion to kill people. Here’s hoping I can continue my path towards making amends.
This will be a short post. It comes from the WOFS website. First we have this Buddhist Calendar you can print out that shows the significant days of the week. This is for next month. And also some bad news.
In Feng Shui we deal with the animistic energies of the elements and how they effect the physical world. The thing is, bad luck and good luck changes directions. Sometimes it will appear from let’s say East or Southeast. And then the next few weeks or month it becomes something else.
The central direction for this next month is replaced with the Loss Star. Which brings with it violence. As well as arguments and other negative forces. This talks to you about which sectors of the home to avoid. And also what not to do.
As well as the types of charms to use to block it out. Now if you don’t work within the Chinese Buddhist pantheon, there are other things that can be done. Use the information accordingly and use what you do work with to ward away the bad energies. You have the links that can help you to do this. Good luck everyone,
This happened maybe three or four days after my last post
It took me a while to write about it because it’s only now that I have everything under control. But it’s a hell of a weird experience. I waited to write this to see if I could debunk it. But also because I am having trouble accepting this could be paranormal. My skeptical mind keeps jumping in.
It’s also a reminder that even experienced magic users can be dumbasses. I’m the said dumbass this time. So we’re not supposed to go out at night. Because dark spirits are out at night. At Ghost Month it’s even worse.
I’m the first person telling everyone not to step out even for a moment. I warded my house up. Did cleansings before hand. I made some specialized wards. Blessed myself and my family, the works.
I ordered a mini air conditioning unit for this small ass slum apartment I live in. I did it as a surprise for my mother. But whoever delivered it, left it on the porch of my Landlord instead of mine. It was dark already. Not full nightfall, the sun still had one slight streak in the skies.
And the sky was the color of dark blue, about to become true night. It was hot as hell and I figured we were okay. So I lit the porch light on knowing the dark things hate the light. I had recently put wards on the outside of my apartment as well. I salted my welcome mat with raw sea salt.
Blessed by Poseidon via his statue. I was confident that nothing would be able to come near us. So I stepped outside and closed the door.
Then I grabbed the box and entered backwards into my house
As I was taught by some old masters of mine from Trinidad. This is to prevent roaming spirits from following me inside the house. I locked the door and thought it would be fine. But as soon as I turned the light off, something started scratching the door. And my dog began to emit a low growl in response and started sniffing at the door.
His growl got louder and louder until he started barking up a storm. I shouted at him to be quiet and go sleep in his bed. But that weird scratching sound kept on. And the dog kept emitting that belly deep growl. One he only reserves for a person rather than an animal.
Now at first I was trying to ignore it. I did get goosebumps. And almost right away I thought I knew what it was. But I ignored it. I was trained by Paranormal groups in the basics :
1) Debunk everything first
2) Not everything is Paranormal, some is psychological
3) Try to find a logical explanation first
Fine. Got it. But you ever have something really eerie happen? You don’t know why it makes you feel weird. You have no logical reason to be afraid. You don’t know why it freaks you out.
But it does. But I pretended that it was nothing. There’s lots of stray animals out there. Street cats, ducks, and even a few possums. The problem is I also know spirits can possess animals.
Especially the dead or nature spirits. And Hungry Ghosts are notorious for that. I’ve never seen a Hungry Ghost before. I go out of my way to avoid them. I follow the rules, leave the offerings, and stay in.
I won’t even take my dog out at night anymore. This thing kept scratching in a sequence. One scratch, then silence. A second scratch, then silence. And a third scratch.
Then it would wait a few minutes and return to the same pattern. I kept thinking that’s weird for a cat.
“Hijo, ¿que es eso?”
(Son, what is that?)
“Es solo un animal,”
(It’s just an animal)
¿Un animal que hace eso como si estuviera enviando código morse?
(An animal that does that as if it’s sending morse code?)
I was hoping she didn’t notice the pattern. One because she’s more skeptical than I am. She won’t just believe something is magic or paranormal. And she’s noticing it’s weird. And two because I didn’t want her to be freaked out.
But even she felt something was off.
“That’s very strange,” she finally said.
She hit the door a few times, hard, to try and frighten it away. It didn’t have any effect. The scratches kept coming louder and seemed to be deeper upon the door. She wondered if someone had broken into the property and was playing a prank. But the scratches happened the moment I shut the lights off when I was inside.
No one is that fast. No one is out there. Plus the Gates were shut, my landlord is an ex cop so she has security cameras everywhere. And she’s nosy as hell. She would have seen a stranger coming and brought her gun out to meet them by now.
I wanted to text her anyway but my mom stopped me.
“What happens if no one is there? If there is no animal? What are we going to tell her?”
She was right. And it also seemed by how she phrased it, that she came to the conclusion this was paranormal. Without me having told her anything. After about six minutes of this I was like Why am I trying to debunk this? I’m not investigating anyone so I have nothing to prove. I began playing some Buddhist music and reading a few sutras out loud.
And that was it. It just stopped as suddenly as it had begone. My dog also calmed down afterwards. Even now I’m trying to debunk it. Maybe the music and the sound of my voice scared the animal off.
But my voice level was just as loud when my mother and I were speaking. And the Facebook videos she was watching before were way louder than the music I played. Hell hitting the door should have frightened it away. Not attracted it more. But it kept scratching the door uninterrupted.
Why would Buddhist music and Buddhist texts be enough to scare a random animal away? I was going to do a divination on it but my spirits stopped me. They asked not with words but with feelings Why ask when you know the answer already? Confirming that it was a Hungry Ghost. Not just my imagination or superstition. A nasty roaming soul. Drawn by the activity of a person opening their front door.
Venturing out like a fool when they should not. I should have known better. When will I learn that even magic and prayers are not 100% full proof? I don’t know. After that for a few weeks we both dreamed of the dead. Specifically of decomposing corpses that were not zombies.
But they could still walk around. I didn’t tell my mother about what a Hungry Ghost is. She’s a Jehovah’s Witness, she doesn’t believe in them. But she still dreamed of them. And she knows something strange happened that night.
I finally asked my spirits what was up. And they told me that this thing sniffed us both out. And it was trying to find a way in. So I had to do a far more powerful banishing to get rid of it for good. The dreams stopped for the both of us.
I didn’t tell her about the banishing ritual to see if she noticed a difference. I did a whole new cleansing, re-blessed everything and her and myself. Then I re-salted everything from the inside and out. Final thought, the morning after the strange scratching, I was sure that the landlord was going to complain about the marks. I wanted to be ready in case she tried to blame my dog.
Except there were none. I took 15 mins and even asked my mother to look. Short of a magnifying glass, I’m fairly confident that no animal scratched the door. She thought it was weird too. I started doing research online to see if it was possible for an animal like a cat to scratch something without leaving a mark.
I found nothing. If anything I found evidence to the contrary. That even a common house cat can scratch up the metal of a car given the right circumstances. This door is made of wood. There’s no way those loud ass scratching sounds happened and nothing was left behind.
Not even so much as a faint outline. Believe me or don’t. I don’t care. I didn’t see it. But I felt it.
Both of us did. Even my dog did. And I mean really felt it. It was the sensation of a wicked, child like mentality. Something nasty that has nothing better to do than fuck with people.
I can’t say for sure it was a Hungry Ghost. And even now as I write this I can feel my spirits facepalming themselves. As if to say we told you what it was already, why are you doubting us? But logically speaking I can’t prove that’s what it was. Any skeptic reading the blog would see this as a mere hysteria on my part. The common nightmares? A shared delusion between my mother and I.
Even though she doesn’t know anything about Ghost Month. The scratching noises that didn’t yield any scratch marks? The wood is obviously sturdy enough to resist despite the loud scratching. So it was just an animal. Tada! It’s explained away. The animal not being scared off by our voices or my mother repeatedly hitting the door to scare it away? Nothing.
And it’s just a coincidence that a sutra and some religious music was used by me at the moment the animal in question stopped. But I’ll say this, skeptics be damned. They aren’t here when the night falls and strange things come out of the shadows. Something strange is in the night shade. And if you should find that a package is on your door step or at your neighbor’s step, leave it behind.
Wait until the morning. Or else you might hear a strange, rhythmic scratching at your door. Scratch, then stop. Second scratch then another stop. Third scratch and a longer pause.
A Flame Mouth is a Hungry Ghost who cannot eat food because it will turn into fiery coal in their hands. From Best Price Travel’s article
I decided to take advantage of this festival to write about a little talked of subject : Los Muertos Oscuros. The Dark Dead. This is something that is universal amongst all traditions, both old and new. Even Reiki practitioners have talked to me about the use of Reiki to help or aid the dead. Especially those lost in the darkness.
But first, what is this festival about?
Today at Sunset, the Hungry Ghost Festival begins. For those who don’t know, this is when the dark or toxic spirits of the dead are released. Specifically those who died and went to Hell for their sins. Hell isn’t entirely a Christian concept. Many faiths have their own version of Hell under different names.
Or states of hell. Sometimes referred to as “reincarnating into the lower realms.” Although lower realms isn’t always hell. Sometimes it’s limbo or even reincarnation as an animal. Though I personally don’t believe reincarnating as an animal is “lower” at all.
It’s being a part of nature. Humans after all, are animals. Typically, Hungry Ghosts are classified into three groups : Needle Mouths, Flame Mouths, and Corpse Mouths. A Needle Mouth is when a hungry ghost has a throat that is so tiny, it’s like a needle. Which is why they cannot eat food.
Flame Mouths are people that cannot eat food because it will burn up or transform into coal. And Corpse Mouths are the very worst. Those are people who were so evil in life, that they become decomposing corpses. They can’t eat because their mouths rotted away. This is a testament to their very literal rotten character.
For many generations there was very little that could be done for such people. It wasn’t until the Buddha’s two disciples, Maudgalyāyana and Sariputta had to face the fires of hell to save their mothers. Both of them had selfish and greedy mothers, who when they died, went to Hell and became Hungry Ghosts. If you want to read the whole story, go to my 2018 Article on the origins of the Festival. This also covers the rituals needed to appease them and ease their sufferings.
In addition to Buddhism, the same entity exists in Hinduism, known as a Preta. Which becomes a flesh eating undead revenant.
A depiction of a Corpse Mouth
In addition to not being able to eat because of their mouths, Hungry Ghosts have large distended bellies. This is for them to eternally starve to death without starving. Now, most religions also have what I call Dark Ghosts. Toxic spirits of the dead. They aren’t necessarily people who went to Hell.
Not everyone believes in Hell. But various religions have something akin to limbo or purgatory. And in this place a spirit with no light as we Santeros say, or divine energy, just keeps getting darker. And then more violent and nasty. Until they become something far removed from who they once were in life.
A soul that was put into a blender and so messed up that it’s unrecognizable as who it once was. In Santería we call this an Eggun Buruku. Literally the dark dead. In fact I believe the Shadow People mentioned in modern paranormal accounts are these types of spirits. Not demons but really dark souls.
Although at least some of them, do become demons according to certain folkloric beliefs. In Catholicism they are called Anima Solas or “lonely souls” that live in purgatory. In Ancient Roman beliefs they were called Lemures or Larvae. The root word meaning “mask”. Because their visage was so horrible that they were masks of fear to those who beheld them.
And of course we have the Jewish Dybbuk. The soul of a sinner who, unable to become one with God, is hunted and beaten by Angels for sport. So they must come down to our realms in order to escape. They are called Dybbuks because the root word in Hebrew is the word for “attachment”. They attach themselves to the living or outright possess them.
Whether they be animals or humans makes no difference to them. Symptoms of Dybbuk possession include speaking with someone else’s voice (dead person’s voice). Having any ailments or pains they had in life like back pain or anything else they had. Or total personality changes. In certain spiritual circles the belief of a deceased soul doing all of this to a possessed person is identical.
Dark, but not always Evil
Not all of these dark souls are evil or even punished by God through the Angels however. Some Dybbuks are just dark because of how they died. Such as suicides. And they stay in a state of constant purification until they are ready to become one with God, like the Anima Solas in Purgatory. A Rabbi once told me that such a spirit will be attracted to someone who acts like them.
So if a Dybbuk committed suicide, they will go to someone thinking of it. If a Dybbuk was a murderer, they will go to someone thinking of it. Once there, they possess and oppress the person. The person starts getting visions of this dead soul in life. And they relive all the things the deceased went through.
The person in theory, understands that killing themselves or someone else won’t give them peace. So they change their ways and live out their lives. The Dybbuk departs from the human. And they having fulfilled their duty, are fully purified. Thus allowed to enter Heaven.
This is just one of many ways that the dark dead are able to be purified. It’s not always about sin but more often than not, miasma. Negative energy from some event holding them back. And by being unable to release this bad energy, they stop themselves from going forward. Usually, what happens is that a descendant doesn’t remember their ancestors.
There’s this modern belief that the dead are automatically fine. That when they die, they go to God and that’s it. Some go to Heaven, others go to Hell, done. But it doesn’t work like that. Even in Purgatory, there are many different forms and dimensions.
Same with reincarnation. Not all reincarnation is the same either. But I digress. When people forget their ancestors, that’s a nail in their spiritual coffin. When they don’t give them offerings of food and money or drink or incense and candles etc.. the soul becomes like a homeless person.
Alone. Trapped. Always hungry and thirsting. Always cold or hot because they have no home to protect them. Always alone or in the company of spirits that make you feel alone.
This is why on Hungry Ghost Month Hades Money or Hell Money is burned. It’s a kind of fake currency that is charged with prayers or belief. Once it’s burned in honor of a specific person, that person has the spiritual version of it with them. And to them, it’s a real currency.
Here we back our currencies with gold or natural resources. Their, faith, belief, power, energy is what backs such a currency and makes it real for them. I knew one woman, who would burn the paper using a holy candle. The holiness of the blessed candle would be permanently infused into that money. So that the money would appear to the dead person she offered it to as a talisman.
It wouldn’t run out.
Warding
In many traditions we have some kind of altar or idol for the nameless and forgotten dead. In Yoruba practice, we have statues of Babalu Aye and Oro who are Orishas that have power over the nameless and forgotten dead. They are placed outside the house. And offerings are given to them to make sure these spirits are pacified and won’t harm the living. Special idols for Hekate are placed outside of household doors to ensure bad spirits stay away.
Or just plain using sea salt barriers to block anything or anyone from coming in. While everyone is in danger of being effected by them, the sick, the elderly, children, and pregnant women are most at risk. Animals should avoid being outdoors at night as well. If you keep them outdoors, you need to ward your front and backyards. As well as ward their places of sleep.
Bless their food and drink and ask the Gods to fill them with protective grace to ward off enemy spirits. By enemy I mean anything that could harm you, even if unintentionally. Do extra protections. These are some links with information with good advice on what to do during this month.
Finally, if you do decide to give offerings this month you need to be very careful. The Hungry Ghosts congregate all around people giving offerings. You need to charge your food and drink for libations but ask the Gods to put a timer on when the energy can be released. So that once you put it outside, it won’t release the energy until you have left and are safe. And wait until you are outside and far from home.
Pray to the Gods and ask them to charge the food and water. And that even if it is devoured right away in the physical world, it may endlessly replicate into the spiritual world until morning. That way many souls will be free. Or alternatively for the blessings on the food and water to be a gigantic bomb that will liberate an entire night’s worth of spirits when eaten. Cleanse the whole home.
Hungry Ghosts, like most spirits will possess an animal to eat on their behalf. The Hungry Ghost eats the energy inside the food, and the animal eats the physical food. Give your home an extra strength blessing. Do it for your Cars in case you need to be out late. Wear a protective charm with you.
And anoint yourself with oil. Or holy water. Bless any food or drink you have before you eat it and pray for protection. That way you will be given divine grace to protect yourself. Don’t offer the food to them when inside your home.
Because that will be an open invitation to them. And next thing you know, you will have legions over running your house. So when you do this outside, first have protection. Cast a circle, or wear a protection around your neck, have a charm bag etc.. even a salt circle around your car will do. Make it large enough to walk inside of.
Choose a place far from your home. Then what you need to do is pray to the Gods to charge the offerings. Either to ascend or elevate whoever will eat them. And that in exchange for them being crossed, for more good spirits to enter our home instead. That’s my advice.
Remember when I said the Earth was purging him/herself during this period? I knew it was going to more or less end with the New Moon. But damn, I didn’t realize it would die so hard. Eclipses of any kind bring out the shadow self. New Moons do it to lesser degree in comparison. Retrogrades really bring out the shadow.
This is some serious reaping being done. I hadn’t even realized there was a Juno retrograde in progress. Which is actually worse. Because Juno is the Queen of the Roman Gods. Queen of the Universe.
So everything is backwards. The New Moon which is a time for the dead as well as shadow work, is the sign of Gemini. Gemini being the twin already deals with the duality of the soul. So this is perfect time for Shamanism, Introspection, and anything that requires deeper spiritual insight. Those born under this sign will obviously be effected more than usual.
And of course any dark art including necromancy will be at its strongest now. When I say dark art, I don’t mean evil magics or consorting with demons. I mean any energy or magic attuned to the darker spectrums of energy. Whether it’s talking to the dead, using special forms of divination like a scrying, or calling on the Winter Court of the Fae (Dark Fae). That’s what I mean.
I’m not advocating any form of harmful magic. Though you should be forewarned that harmful spirits, energies, and magics will be powered up at this time.
Now this is sort of a weird one. The bloodmoon was still stronger. But a New Moon with an added Solar Eclipse increases the darker energies of nature. Add in the retrogrades and this is a far stronger time for the emergence of our shadow selves than before. I’m beginning to think that the danger I alluded to in my other blog post was the shadow of the bloodmoon and its aftermath effecting us all.
I suspect that this is another time where the veil is thin. And we may yet see deeper into the other side is coming. So do the same as before. Salt all doors and windows after a cleansing and blessing. Use either dark wards or nature based wards for protection.
White wards for lighter energy won’t do it.
If you’re a Christian it doesn’t matter. Because the cross is a multifaceted system. It is a symbol of nature to some, a chthonic symbol of the dead to others, as well as a symbol of spiritual light. You just need to make sure it’s attuned with special prayers against the eclipse. Specifically mention in your prayers the victory of life against death or Christ against original sin etc..
Recite Psalm 91, the Psalm of Protection. And keep a Bible under your pillow after reading the psalm. You might still have the nightmares or undergo whatever was happening when the bloodmoon got here. But it will go away. In addition to this, we have the Phita Khon Festival from Thailand.
It’s a variation of the Ghost Festival of the Chinese, only more positive. Instead of angry ghosts or dark ghosts, this focuses on happy and positive ghosts. Essentially, the Buddha had gone in a journey for a long time. No one knew if he was alive or dead. When he finally returned, everyone became so happy that even the dead rose from the happiness.
So every year the Phita Khon Ghost Festival is celebrated where people rejoice for three days. They wear ghost masks and party. As well as give offerings for the dead. So this adds both light and dark energy to this time. It is a good time to call on the Buddha and his disciples for protection.
So that’s all for now. Please take care of yourselves. I am going to observe what happens these days as they follow.
Guardian Angels crossing over their wards into the light.
I wasn’t going to write about this. I had planned that my next post would be cheerful. Something nice and sweet. I wanted to get out of this gloomy mindset not just for my own sake, but for many who read this blog. However, my spirits kept telling me that I needed to write this post.
Something about, “Someone is eventually going to need it,”. Since it’s a rarely talked about topic I decided to finally get to it today. Everyone is always on and on about getting life insurance. Letting your loved ones know what you want. What you don’t want etc…but there’s a few things that should be added to the list.
Not just if you want to be cremated or not.
Number 1) Leave a Living Will
Sounds simple enough right? And yet most people don’t do it. Make sure that you divide everything up for your descendants. When my first Grandpa died, it was painful having to go through his house. My Grandma had Alzheimer’s and couldn’t live on her own. She had no use for any of my grandpa’s things.
I felt like we were vultures going through his things. It felt down right unholy to divide his belongings. It felt like robbing the dead. I couldn’t bring myself to participate. Don’t make your loved ones go through that.
Leave a clear list of what should happen with everything and where it should go. They will feel better and you’ll avoid family fueds that way. An Indian client once asked me to ask her dead Grandmother why she hadn’t left a will. The family tore itself apart arguing over lands and homes she owned. The spirit simply responded,
“I knew that they would. But I expected them to behave like adults,”
Don’t do that. Make sure any places or economically beneficial things are also assigned to those you want to assign them to. You may think your family is above that, but remember : they are human. Prone to human mistakes. Next on our list.
2) Prepare for the Afterlife
The disposal of your earthly remains is just a tiny part of what needs to be cared for. You have to worry about your soul as well. There is a modern belief that when you die that’s it. You go to where you need to go. Not even close.
While that can and does happen, that’s not always the case. Those tend to be people who are protected by a higher power or a faith etc..or have really strong guides and ancestors. I wonder if all these Earthly ghosts are here because nobody followed the proper rites and procedures for them. So ensure that it gets followed. Get in touch with a temple or a church or a spiritual group you trust to do funerary rites for you.
Then to follow it with a mass. One trick I sort of invented to help one client was I told them to talk to a Catholic Church. And to ask how much of a donation they would need to have a funeral mass said for them…..for a hundred years. If after a 100 years you’re still in Purgatory, I don’t know what else to say. I was taught that one human year on Earth is spiritually equivalent to a hundred years.
So a hundred for us could be upwards to a thousand for them. So a thousand years of prayers done for you. Also remember to ask family members you trust to pray for you. Won’t do ancestral prayers because it’s too Pagan for you? Then do masses and light candles or incense. And if that’s too Pagan for you, you can go to a random church and ask for regular prayers said for you.
In Santeria we go a step further. We have what is known as the Itutu Ceremony. A ceremony where a divination is performed to inform the spirits and Orishas the person had with them and fed them, that their caretaker is now dead. They then ask those spirit guides the person had acquired on their earthly journey what they want. Not their own specific guardians, but new spirits they worked with.
Do they want to be set free from their vessels? Such spirits live inside charms or idols. Familiars who were acquired by the Santero. Usually egun (dead) that join the practitioner while they are alive. Either they will choose to go with another Santero or practitioner. Or a family member or even just to be released back into the spiritual world.
The idols or charms are disposed of in nature. The Santero is also dressed in the same clothing they were initiated in. And a jar is buried with them with offerings for the Earth. Now this leads me to the next part. That’s the way it’s done with Santeria.
Other practitioners may even be buried with their idols and magical items in the same way Egyptians did for themselves. Just remember : Grave robbers are alive and well. So unless you’re planning to leave something that you intentionally want someone taking your stuff, be aware. Such things could be stolen. Personally, I believe every faith should have their own version of the Itutu Ceremony.
I’m not saying steal the prayers and sacred rituals. Not that, don’t get it twisted. But ceremonially preparing the body with special clothing, burying the body with offerings. Informing the spirits and Gods inside of idols their caretaker is gone and asking them what they want, all that is good. And many cultures have similar ceremonies.
Just saying, this is a good blue print to incorporate into every system. It doesn’t have to be exact. Some cultures may choose cremation. There is no right or wrong way to do this. As long as the Gods approve.
3) Proper Funerary Rites
As before, ensure that the proper prayers are done for you. Catholics and Catholic centered faiths start with novenas. These are prayers said for nine days for the soul of a person using a rosary. This is done before any masses can be done. This is usually a preparation for the person.
Again, rosaries and novenas are not just for Catholics. Buddhists have them and there is a Magician on here called “The Digital Ambler” (really cool guy) who made his own Pagan-Christian Novenas. You can make your own for your tradition. And it is also a blessing of protection for the soul of the deceased. Various traditions have different rituals.
For Jews, there is the Kaddish Prayer. The Rabbi leads a minimum of ten people in praises to God on behalf of a deceased soul. This prayer came from Rabbi Akiba. He was a mystical Jewish Sage who met the soul of a dead man on his journeys. The man was a sinner in life and despised by his own community.
He was a tax collector for the Romans, and thus considered a traitor and collaborator. The truth is he had many sins on his soul. He was being tortured by demons who forced him to do hard labor. They made him work all day to build a pyre he would be burned on at night. Akiba asked what could be done for him.
The condemned soul told him, his son needed to be given a Bar Mitzvah. And taught to read from the Torah so that he could lead a Jewish congregation in prayer to praise God. The Kaddish prayer doesn’t mention the name of the dead or anything about death. The intention of knowing that the prayer is being done for a person’s memory is enough for God to raise them to Heaven. In theory this is enough to free any condemned soul.
Rabbi Akiba trained the boy and had prepared a Bar Mitzvah. The night before the young boy was to perform the very first Kaddish, Rabbi Akiba dreamed of him. He was freed ahead of time from his suffering by God. And his soul thanked the Rabbi for his righteousness and his love. Akiba was a contemporary of Jesus for those interested.
Who knows what divine gifts he possessed. Finally,
Step 4) Consecrated Ground
I can’t stress this enough : make sure the place your body gets buried in not only has a good reputation, but is also holy ground. Not all cemeteries are blessed. Most cemeteries are non-religious. And while they do have religious looking graves and funerary rites performed, it isn’t the same. A dedicated cemetery is a place that a priest or priestess of a religion has set aside purposefully.
The purpose is so that the spirits of our Gods and traditions may dwell there with the dead. Offering them light and healing. As well as protection from evil spirits and black magic. There are darker practitioners out there who like to find souls who haven’t quite crossed over. In some cases, there are people who rob the bones of the dead to bind them into servitude.
Burial in such a place can grant a special type of protection for the departed. Also, just because a place is dedicated and consecrated doesn’t mean it’s trustworthy. There was a controversy a few years back in Miami over a Jewish Cemetery. The owners were removing the already buried dead to re-use the burial plots for future customers. So try to find a place connected to an actual temple or church.
Not just a dedicated space that is handled by a third party.
Conclusion
Not to be morbid, when writing this. I say this to you for all of you to learn. We plan birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and even holidays. Why not take some time out of your day to plan your departure from this world? You’ll help your loved ones. And more importantly, yourselves.
There are a lot of family members who ask mediums and witches : are they okay? And those of us who are not charlatans will always ask,
“What are you doing for your family on the other side?”
Don’t leave it all to us to handle this responsibility. Each and every one of us is responsible for what needs to be done and taken care of when we go. And don’t wait for you to be old. You could die tomorrow.
Karkinos, the Giant Crab given immortality by Poseidon or Hera depending on the Legend. In the more anglicised version, his name is Crios.
Now normally, when July comes around, most people don’t view it as a dark time. Most people think of the scorching heat of the sun. But if you have been reading my studies and my weird little exploits then you know I am not most people. For starters, in the Ryukyuan Islands of Japan, the entire month of July is their version of Ghost Month. If you don’t know the story behind that festival, you can read about it here :
But this Month has started out cthonic even astrologically. Both monday and tuesday start out with a New Moon. New Moon’s are considered the time of the dead and times of bad luck in Hinduism. Tuesday also has a solar eclipse in the sign of cancer. The day after the new moon in the old Roman calendar is the Nones which is dedicated to the dead and considered a bad luck day.
On the 7th of July (Sunday) we have Mercury going into retrograde which now joins Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter in their retrogrades. Then on the 16th of July (Tuesday) we have a Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Capricorn. Then there’s the feast of the dead saints Saints Cyril and Methodius on Friday July 5th. And if you notice, we end this new month the same way it begins : with a New Moon between the days 30 and 31st with the Feast of Joseph of Arimathea. So either way, it seems we’re bound for a lot of change.
And a lot of dark influences.
As always, stay in doors during the solar eclipse, any offerings you’ll make to the Sun Gods must be on altars to the dead to their underworld aspects. On Lunar Eclipses, you can stay outside to make wishes. But only for as long as the conjurations last. Then immediately go inside. If you are sick, or a woman who is pregnant or on her period, really not a good idea.
Liminal times like these will hit you harder than a man. Speak your wishes over the offerings and leave them outside before the actual events. You’ll still get your wishes. And remember : leave offerings blessed with prayer for the dark dead on crossroads or cemeteries, bodies of water like rivers or ponds are also good. They’ll channel themselves into animals in order to eat in most cases.
Also feed your land and house spirits to be safe and protected during this time. Now is the time to do a lot of cleansing and cleaning of the home. Also on Sunday we have the Tanabata Festival of Japan (Qixi in China) the Star Light festival of the two lovers. We have a bunch of holy holidays of light including the Slavic Kupala Night (the final Summer Solstice festival) which also ends Sunday. So we have a balance of light with darkness.
Update : As a matter of fact I may do more updates in the future.
I did my Soothsaying as usual. I did offerings to the Gods and entered a trance. I began to perceive days and weeks as energies. And then I marked my astrological calender with notes. Which I found something odd.
In fact I have never done this before.
Apparently, I pointed out that there is a vortex forming. Almost like a strange weather pattern of the spirit world. It started Monday to Tuesday this week with the New Moon and Solar Eclipse.
What I learned is that the vortex seems to be connected to the astrological phenomenon. Some kind of doorway in our skies is being opened. What, I have no idea. This could be for karma. This could be due to the Ryukyuan Ghost Month which is every July.
Or it could be something else entirely. I am still doing my research. What I also discovered is that the magic involved is influenced by the power of four. It creates a kind of square or perhaps a cube.
I noticed another phenomenon. Light and Dark seem to be going back to back with each other. We started the month dark. Tomorrow the feast of Cyril and Methodius we begin a light energy. It seems to be solar and rises to prominence from the 6th-7th which is Kupala Night. Then on the 7th Mercury Retrograde we have the Star Festival.
The light changes from solar to starlight. Night reigns but with infusions of holy light. Then around the day 9 to 10 it begins to clear up. A “Dawning” begins. But rather than Sunlight, I spiritually saw a large moon rising to illuninate everything at the 11th. The Full Moon isn’t until Tuesday the 16th, the same time as the Lunar Eclipse which adds a weird power to this.
The Eclipse and everything else sort of creates a spiritual vortex that feels similar to the Bermuda Triangle. Only it’s a square. And then I realized it’s actually a Cube. I just haven’t pinpointed yet where the last two points of the Cube are. Or what they are.
On the 11th the monthly energy is illuminated with lunar energy. That is the Dawning. But by the 17th it darkness till the end of the month. Oh and guess what? The regular Chinese Ghost Month starts next month on the 1st and ends on the 19th. So that means we have two cthonic months.
I wondered if I hadn’t found the other two points of the Cube, because they were for next month. And I was correct. Mercury going direct on the 31st is one point.
The last is Jupiter going direct next month on the 11th which is a master number. And Zeus or Jupiter as the God of Gods is a true master.
I’ll wait to do any other predictions for next month. It almost looks like a Hurricane path. So what I get from all this is :
Manifestation
Destruction
Healing
Light Vs. Dark or Light working with the dark.
Lots and lots of spirits, light, dark, and neutral but mostly light or dark coming through during this timeframe. Ending sometime after Jupiter goes direct.
Possible increase in violence.
Potential for peace, though it will be hard.
This month is tricky, good and bad vibes mixed into one. For protection from the Hungry Ghosts (I believe in India they are called Preta) you should have sacred charms with protective blessings or spells. Crosses, Stars of David, images of certain Gods or even holy books placed in corners of the home will shield it. Also place salt all around the outside of the home and salt the doors and windows from both sides. At the same time, you can charge the same charms with good energy from this month.
I would call this a Yin and Yang month. How will you put these energies to work for you? Oh and by the way. After I finished my update on what appeared to be a spiritual vortex, I saw this over my home in Miami. Sweetwater down the road from FIU to be precise. It’s not there anymore but I saw it.
They were taken with different phones. The originals were mine which is an Android. The lighter ones are from an iPhone 6. Notice that in every snap of the iPhone they seem to change in color. Interesting that this happened after my reading.
Update again
Apparently what I saw, was seen all over Florida. Even by people out to sea. This video shows at 10:13 that it could be seen off the shores of Florida.
Since then, the strange Earthquakes in California have been happening. Quakes that many residents are saying are not the norm for them. Could the “spiritual storm” I foresaw be something major happening?
I will put the remaining updates on this twitter thread
Strange things are happening. I wonder if any other #Diviners have seen what I saw during my monthly divination. Cause now we have more tremors in #California. https://t.co/IUbY5SlJf0
— Adventures of a Mage in Miami (@MiamiMagus) July 6, 2019
In North America, violence is part of our day to day life. But since before and after Ghost Month it’s become worse. Here’s a list of some of the things that happened just yesterday or the day before I think. All of this was in the same Yahoo newsletter :
Couple Investigated after friend’s body parts found in bags
It is said that spirits can effect our world. That they can cause humans to become more violent. That they can cause disease and crime and murder and even suicide. I can tell you that there is at least some truth to this. I regularly use necromancy to cross the dead over.
And I can tell you that violence here has lessened with time as the crossings have happened. I think the combination of the Hungry Ghosts, Eclipses, and Retrogrades are making the violence worse. As a matter of fact Eclipses and Retrogrades can make the energy worse. Beware my friends. People are going crazier than usual.
Oh and the picture being used here is Ariana Grande who was sexually assaulted by a preacher on live TV at Aretha Franklin’s funeral. After he made a racist Taco bell joke about her.
this is literally disgusting. & the way he does it multiple times… how does he think that's ok or comfortable ? pic.twitter.com/uQbJJHu8mO
Funny how the media isn’t mentioning this and is actually going out of there way to avoid the elephant in the room. The hashtag #RespectAriana is trending on Twitter now. Not that men need Demons to be pigs. Real holy men don’t do this.
